Gimme Glitter: The Face Shop - Strawberry Milk Yogurt

Hello there my fine folks, I hope you are doing great this summer time!! I can tell you I have been eating A LOT and hahaha oh dear needs to exercise :P Fun fact, 50TH EDITION OF GIMME GLITTER!! Yes I am a glitter fiend, no it will never stop. But yes I have a mega amazing Face Shop glitter to show today. It's part of the yogurt range and I LOVE the other yogurt polish I have and this is the perfect 50th glitter polish (not gonna lie I was trying to plan this :P).

Experience the prettiness with me. Just let it soak in. Oh man IT'S SO PRETTY!! I LOVE IT!!
Ok so Strawberry Milk is a gorgeous pale pink base with the most beautiful aqua, purple and pink glitter with extra small purple glitter and white squares with tiny pink glitter. I <3 it!! For one I adore that shade of pale pink and the aqua and purple glitter is extraordinary. I was saying previously that I don't like metallic glitter but when it's in gorgeous colours with a great base, it's only my favourite.

I adore the Yogurt series (I have another one to show you soon) and I'm SOOOOOOOOO glad Lacqueerisa introduced them to me. Another note, the names are adorable, I really like strawberry milk (I like strawberry milkshake even better) and the entire concept of the polishes are just the best. I just know that eventually I'll collect them all.

The formula was brilliant, I used 3 thin coats (which could easily be 2 thick coats), and the abundance of glitter was awesome. The base is also perfect for coverage while letting the glitter shine through. A perfectly executed polish from The Face Shop.

Thank you very much for reading my glitter ramblings and I hope you have a lovely day!! :)

Animal Crossing New Leaf Nail Art: Reese and Cyrus

Hi chums!! I don't know if I'll make a new series from this, but I definitely might cause I am an Animal Crossing fangirl. Especially the newest game New Leaf, I adored Wild World on the DS (I did some nail art ;) but I think I've improved since then, just have your eyes burnt with the fiery orange photo) but New Leaf is really a step up, a really amazing step up. I'd happily do all the nail art on Animal Crossing cause I'm so obsessed, it's the perfect summer game.
I only got the game recently when I got my 3DS after my exams (which it's amazing guys, the Streetpass features alone make it worth it, if you know what I'm talking, you KNOW what I'm talking about ;)) with New Leaf and I'm totally enamoured with the characters I'm going to show you today. I've also realised that this mani totally perfectly fits this month's Lacquer Legion theme of Fandom, I've been meaning to join the fray but I've been too busy over the last 7 months or so. But I have the nail art this month!!
AHHHHHH ANIMAL CROSSING!!!

So Reese and Cyrus are alpacas, Reese is the girl (who's adorable!!) and Cyrus is the guy and they run the new shop Re-tail (which is the best shop ever).
I'm very happy with how I managed to paint them, I think I got them accurately and capturing the essence of their characters. I also really really like the heart print going on, so simple but so cute!! But genuinely Reese and Cyrus are so precious, oh yeah they're married too!! :P

At Re-tail (pun) you can sell your stuff (they give a better price than the Nooks), recycle old items and Cyrus can customize your furniture which is a new thing in this game and it's awesome. It's why I have a really cool white grand piano sitting in my house haha. Seriously incredible new characters for the game and I had to salute them in nail art hehe!!
So painting wise I got my toothpicks, for Reese and Cyrus I started with a white base and filled in the details. I started with the hair for both of them cause it's a significant part of them :)

Base: The Face Shop - Strawberry Milk Yogurt
Pink: Barry M - Dragon Fruit
White: Barry M - Matt White and Lovely Me:Ex - White
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
Peach: M&S - Sun Glow
Brown: Nails Inc - Porchester Square
Red: M&S - Poppy
Medium Pink: Orly - Basket Case
Dark Pink: Madame Milly - Pink (no name)
Green: Rimmel - Misty Jade
Yellow: Topshop - Naked
Blue: Essie - Bikini So Teeny (Cyrus is more of a bright cyan blue but I can't seem to find a polish like that, just gonna keep hunting :P)
Dark Blue: H&M - Blue My Mind

Even if you don't know about the game hopefully you were still able to enjoy this post, thanks so much for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day!!!! :)

Gimme Glitter: Revlon - Celestial

Hey there people!! I have this really cute glitter polish today, I was very fortunate to be able to go to Japan this year, and it was lovely where we were at. And yeah I got this polish from there. They're Revlon bottles are smaller than the usual 14.8ml (approx.), and they're really cute!! I'm guessing they're 8ml, but compared to the regular bottles they're adorable. I'm all about this polish because of one thing, moon glitter.

I don't know what it is about moon glitter, but it's fabulous!!
Celestial is a glitter topper with holographic moon, star and diamond glitter (how exciting!) with lots of small iridescent glitter. It very much gives the night sky effect; also we've already talked about how much I love holographic glitter so we don't need to do that again. However while I like this polish I'm not enamoured, I have a feeling it's also about the combo I did. I think I could've paired the glitter with a better blue.

Hello holographicness
I was looking for this when it first came out with Heart Of Gold, or whatever it's called. It was the one that had the heart glitter. It was the moons that called me, of course every Revlon stand I looked at never had it so as usual I convinced myself I didn't need it and moons can be found everywhere (not true). But hello Celestial in random Japanese store!! I don't forget about moons. Though I really like the star glitter in this polish too.

The iridescent glitter was very plentiful but the big glitter was different story. The fishing was real, without it I got about 2 pieces of big glitter on each nail. Also the big glitter is spiky, even with topcoat it stuck out and you guys know that spiky glitter is spiky. It can potentially hurt a person. So beware haha.

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day!!! :)

Blue Nails: Kiko - 265

Hello there guys!! Another blue polish today, I have quite a few of these... Maybe because I'm a blue maniac. But my bezzie got this for me cause she knows me so well; she got it from Italy which is cool and Kiko stuff is really good. Even thought only have 1, I've heard many many good things about them and maybe I'll get some more one day :)

265 is a very dark navy with a really pretty blue shimmer that can hardly be seen most of the time. But I got it to show up in the pictures!! 265 looks black, that's what makes me like it less. I love my blues, but not black. But the shimmer does partially redeem it.

Oh hey shimmer, I don't see you around very much
Nice name it's got there, I have a feeling that all Kiko polishes have numbers for names. My friend has 266, and it's lighter than 265 and it's really nice. But I've seen tons of nice polishes from Kiko, like the Sugar Matte polishes with the amazing shimmer and the cremes which are great colours with awesome formulas. I know the price is good too!!

The formula for this polish is super good, when I have shorter nails I can do 1 coat. I used 2 coats for this swatch and it's very opaque and the actual polish is not thick and it's smooth. Though the brush may not be perfectly shaped for my nails, but that's a small matter.

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a lovely day!  :)

Bright Butterfly Nail Art

Hello there!! Today's nail art was one of uncertainty, not like butterflies are overly crazy but I didn't know how this one would turn out. They're my standard cute animal design but I didn't know how well it would work with butterflies. But go being pleasantly surprised cause I ended up really liking this one!! :)

It's the bright colours isn't it? That always makes me a happy bunny. But honestly I think the butterflies are pretty cute. The wing pattern isn't exactly inspired but I like simplicity sometimes. I wanted to let the glitter shine cause bright colours!! I think I like the butterfly on my ring finger the best. See my thumb? I used the glitter as antennae, smart ideas from PlumeriaPainted :P

This was a toothpick design and it was extremely random. The colours of the wings and antennae were ones that went with the flow of whatever colour I was using.

Base: Rimmel - Misty Jade and Glam Polish - Mars Attacks!
Teal: Barry M - Guava
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
White: Barry M - Matt White
Purple: Illamasqua - Jo'Mina
Pink: Orly - Basket Case
Blue: H&M - Blue My Mind
Yellow: Topshop - Naked
Dusty Pink: OPI - Japanese Rose Garden
Orange: OPI - Where Did Suzi's Man-go? (which I think looks GREAT here)
Light Purple: Essie - Lilacism
Dark Purple: OPI - Plum & Get It

Thanks for reading and I hope you have a lovely day!!! :)

Orange Nails: OPI - Where Did Suzi's Man-go?

Hello there!! Swatch today, you know the summer's begun when the new OPIs turn up on this blog. As you know this one came from this Spring's Brazil collection and as you know it's a pretty one, which hopefully my swatches convey.

Where Did Suzi's Man-go? is a light peachy orange which is totes gorgeous and the colour is just boss. Though I thought it didn't suit me very well that never stops me from LOVING a colour and of course this is great. The peachy tone comes out better in some lighting compared to others. Ever since the nail polish obsession begun I have LOVED orange polish and savour them cause I don't go buying all of them (like pink/blue polish). I've been looking for a similar polish to Chanel June for a long time and I'm ok if this is as close as I'm going to get :)

So yes the Brazil Spring collection which I thought was pretty nice, I really liked the red-y corals and the pink and yes even the yellow!! It seemed more opaque than your regular yellow and it was a nice bright shade. While it was nice, it wasn't groundbreaking. Though OPI are fabulous for their cremes and this collection exemplified that (I really hope that sentence made sense :/). I definitely thought Where Did Suzi's Man-go? was the best polish in the collection, come on, look how nice the colour is!! The name is a bit lengthy but OPI are so punny; and I don't know I really like the word mango and the taste of mango. Miam miam.

The formula was gorgeous (as you'd expect from OPI), 2 beyond perfect to apply coats. Glided, creamy, beautiful. The brush is also great for my narrow nails; you know what OPI formula is like ;)

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a brilliant day!! :)

Blue's Clues Nails

Hello there guys!! Hope you are doing well; as you can tell I have Blue's Clues nail art today. I adored Blue's Clues as a child, I loved the show, I had the computer game (which was awesome, if my memory is correct, that's where I learned what magenta was) and generally I just really liked it with the handy dandy notebook and dat green stripey shirt. And since I like to do nail art of shows of my childhood I decided to give Blue's Clues a whirl cause Blue is really cute (original name for a blue dog but I'll let it slide, it works for the show's title).

So here we have the pivotal Blue with the logo and that classic red chair, which you probably couldn't tell was a red chair, I tried. However I'm really happy with Blue, she looks cute (Blue is a girl!!) and actually I really like the wallpaper print. It's a nice background to the design yet it's also familiar because of the show!! :)

For the wallpaper, I used the brush of the polish to do straight lines (I know they are not straight whatsoever, my hand gets a little jittery sometimes) then I got a toothpick to do the squiggly lines within. For Blue I used a mixture of polish brush and toothpick for the fine details. The paw was more just brush and obviously the letters were with a toothpick, my writing on nails is bad even though I think my writing on paper etc. is good.

Sorry for the crazy yellow lighting
Orange: OPI - Where Did Suzi's Man-go?
Dark Orange: Essie - Fear Or Desire
Blue: Essie - Bikini So Teeny
Middle Blue: H&M - Blue My Mind mixed with Barry M - Matt White. Oh yeah some mixing happened as I don't have all the required colours with me, it was relatively successful.
Dark Blue: H&M - Blue My Mind
White: Barry M - Matt White
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
Pink: OPI - Japanese Rose Garden
Red: M&S - Poppy

Thank you very much for reading and I hope you have a fabulous day!! :)

Green Nails: Rimmel - Misty Jade

Hey there guys, hope you're doing well, eating food and drinking water. Yeah more swatches, what can I say I like to write about nail polish. Call me crazy I don't really mind. I've totally been digging (I would never say "digging" in real life) Rimmel polish and that's what I have today. Though this is nice, it's nothing to write home about (another thing I would never say).

Misty Jade is as you can guess a jade green creme polish with blue tones, but not as blue as the pictures suggest. My camera seriously hates green, a lot. It's annoying as I love green polish. This is a nice colour, which I'm not obsessed with, that I have a lot of (lots of sense is me). I have a comparison with this polish, it's similar to all of them. I like the name, it conjures mysterious and ethereal thoughts (this is me saying things I definitely understand).

I was really trying to get this colour accurate, but it's still a bit more green, it's also why my hand is orange
I used 3 coats, they were pretty good to apply. The polish is a bit on the thick side but nothing unmanageable. Generally the formula is not bad.

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a really nice summer day (Yes I only have 2 pictures today :O I didn't manage to take too many good ones :/)!! :)

Gimme Glitter: Nails Inc - Abbey Road

Hello chums!! Another Gimme Glitter today, a nice little Nails Inc. Literally; it's a mini bottle. A friend got this for me for Christmas as she was my secret Santa but that little set had some lovely polishes, this being one of my favourites from the set!! :)

The neon pink top strikes again! (A different neon pink top, I love neon pink if you couldn't tell)
So Abbey Road is an extremely dense silver holographic glitter polish, and man it's dense. It's not the most holographic thing you'll ever see but it's pretty impressive in the sun. The glitter particles are also very small, but even so it covers the nail.

Ah no I forgot the name of the set this came in, but I know Notting Hill Gate, Tate, Richmond Terrace and Porchester Square came with it. I've never seen a full size bottle of this but I wouldn't buy it. It's not special enough for a Nails Inc as much as I love holographic glitter.

Blurry purposefully so you can see the sparkle, also my cuticles were no bueno :/
This polish covers extremely well, I used 2 coats for full opacity and just touched up streaky parts, it's kind of like textured polish. It also feels kind of like textured polish so much topcoat is recommended.

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day!! :)

Blue Tribal Nails (inspired by my top!)

Hiya you!! I hope you're chilling and on holiday and if not you're having a good time regardless. I really like tribal nails so I did some, based on this really pretty top I love from Bershka (aka my favourite clothing store). Though I changed up the colours and the whole design (including the base) very much went with the flow.

This is a different kind of tribal that's less uniform and there must be a name for this kind of design that I clearly don't know. Triangles are a great shape and I'm happy to have lots of them here. The colours were nice together and it's funky haha.

I used a bunch of toothpicks of the different colours for this design, a lot of time I went away from the design of the t-shirt and added extra triangles and stuff.

Base: Revlon - Dreamer, Barry M - Silver Glitter, Barry M - Amethyst, Rimmel - Disco Ball, OPI - Polka.com sandwiched by Barry M - Blue Moon. Which looked really really nice by itself, who knew Blue Moon would be such a great sandwich topper(?) and all of the glitter was of course great, though potentially I could've got a little bit carried away.
Blue: Essie - Lots Of Lux, I needed this in the design cause it's so gorgeous and I had a Lots Of Lux craving haha
Pink: Barry M - Fuchsia
Green: Barry M - Kiwi
Gold: Topshop - Naked and w7 - Golden Sands

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you have a marvellous day!! :)

Pale Blue Nails: Barry M - Sugar Apple

Hello there chums!! Feels good to write, it's been a while for me since I'm away on holiday woohoo, I've been scheduling for a while (the backlog never ceases, seriously, I've been backlogged since December and potentially beyond) but now I'm here writing this nice little post. I'll be quite swatchy for this while (as if I haven't already been) cause I'm still trying to get through my polish (one polish at a time...) and yeah I guess I have more time to swatch (but whether I'll be swatching or not is a different story, man I have been using a lot of brackets already). But yeah a Barry M, you know how I feel about Barry Ms'... :3

The colour is a bit more pale in real life than in pictures
So here we have Sugar Apple (OH MY ADORABLE NAME O.o), a pale robin egg's blue, leaning very much more on the blue side. I thought it'd be more minty (what I wanted) but I think it pulls more blue on me. But hey I can very much live with that, the more I wore this the more I loved it (but see we are still in lowercase, so you can gauge my feelings from that). Yeah it's a gorgeous colour; I'm obsessed with robin egg's blue and this is just really really pretty. It's very fresh and the a perfect base for nail art.

I never intended to get this one, it's from the Barry M Spring Gelly collection which honestly really didn't excite me, cause I felt like I'd seen all the colours before and nothing really called to me (and Barry M frequently calls to me).
However a girl goes with her gut in a store and this was meant to go to a friend but I never managed to get it to her so after a month I tried it out ahhhh ok this is the honesty pouring out and not stopping (don't worry I'm going to get her another one or something else :)). But as not overwhelmed by it as I was (great English me), I grew to super like it as I had it on, but this is Barry after all. Come on it's such a mega cute polish.
Also I was much happier with the Summer Gelly collection so harmony is restored in the world.

The Barry M formula is generally beautiful and of course this was the same; for such a pale polish it's very opaque. I used 3 very thin coats which built fantastically. And SUPER SHINY, which is key of the Gelly range but it really was. If you see bubbles it was the topcoat I used (I don't even like that topcoat I don't know why I used it).

Thank you very much for reading and I hope you have a great day!! :)

Facebook Sticker Series: Banana the Monkey

Hey there guys, I have a new series today. It's about time considering I came up with this over a year ago, this is a PlumeraPainted trend; I have an idea, I wait a year before I actually do it :/ anyway this will be an ongoing series (until Facebook runs out of stickers) where I do nail art based on the Facebook stickers you can get in Messenger. They are usually super cute, which come on you know me I love cute things. I get the hard part is how small the stickers are, it can be hard to see but nothing impossible. So the 1st edition will be the Banana stickers, some of my favourites (if not my favourite) as the monkey is so goofy and cute.

There are always so many stickers to pick from and today I picked the WAA Monkey and Banana in a teacup, which I really liked. And the WAA Monkey is my favourite ever, cause I feel the WAA! embodies many feelings and add the flailed arms in the air, it's a very all-encompassing emotion that I feel relates to many aspects of our collective lives.
I love the colours of Banana, he's teal which is enough for me. And oh my gosh he's so cute in a teacup!!! I think the weak point of this design is the bananas which are a bit dodgy, but I definitely don't think it's enough to ruin the design. In fact I really really like it!!

I used the brush of the polish a lot for this design, it worked well for the head and arms. The majority of the design I just used toothpicks and freehanded the design. Yeah I don't have much else to say. That's unusual haha.

Look how great the flakies look over Carousel!! o.O
Base: Barry M - Carousel and Essie - Shine Of The Times
Teal: Barry M - Guava
Light Blue: The Face Shop - GR501
Dark Blue: Kiko - 265
Peach: Essie - Tart Deco
Green: Barry M - Kiwi
Orange: Essie - Fear Or Desire
White: Barry M - Matt White
Red: OPI - Dutch Tulips
Pink: Barry M - Dragon Fruit
Yellow: Rimmel - Sunshine over Lovely Me:Ex - White
Mustard Yellow: Topshop - Naked
Light Orange: Rimmel - It's A Scorcher!

Thank you very much for reading and I hope you have a great day and check out the rest of those stickers, they are super cute!! :)

Blue Nails: Revlon - Dreamer

Hello there, I have another swatch of a polish that I've had for quite a while and I don't know why I stalled so long not swatching it. Well I have it today and it's always been a really pretty blue polish.

Dreamer is a dusty cornflower blue creme, and emphasising the dustiness cause I think that's what makes Dreamer different. So yeah as you can see it's a really nice polish.

I don't have that much Revlon polish, I like it but it doesn't make me want all of them (which is a good thing actually). Nothing that blows my mind. But it's solid stuff and the ones I have are very good and I like the colours. But generally the colours I have, I have better alternatives that I prefer to use. Sorry my Revlon polishes.

I used 3 thin coats, and I applied very well. I know you can get opacity with 2 coats but my bottle is quite used up so getting the coats was a bit more difficult. The first coat seems a bit sheer but it builds well.

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a nice day!! :)

Floral Graffiti Nails

Hello there!! Nail art today, yay. Except this one is a stinker. But PlumeriaPainted documents the good, the bad and the inbetween. And this is the bad. But such is life. Honestly this looks better in the pictures than in real life, which is a definite plus!! The lovely lovely Lacqueerisa gave me this nail art idea and I'm disappointed in myself that I didn't do it justice. Hey, but we still show what happened.

Actually the pictures help it out A LOT, but that's a good thing!! I ended up making my own design instead of following the picture exactly. So the flower is very something I would do haha. I like it in these pictures though. Then I did some flower-y shapes as "shadows" and used leaf colours. I wasn't going to do the black outline but I found with graffiti there tends to be black outlines.
Obviously I added glitter cause it makes me feel better. I really like the colours of the glitter of Glam Polish Mars Attacks! in the design. And Go Deeper was just being awesome, go that holographic glitter!!
I do like the brick background with the glitter (Lacqueerisa was right ;)) and it works with the flowers. I like this design better than when I started writing about it.

For the flower I was using my toothpicks and doing lines of a bunch of pink polish so they'd all blend. I think it was a somewhat good idea that wan't executed correctly. For the "shadows" I just used the brushes of the polishes and then did the same with the glitter.

Base: Nails Inc - Sao Paulo Streets
Brown: Nails Inc - Porchester Square
Gold glitter: Nails Inc - Glamour Glitter
Pinks: OPI - Charged Up Cherry, Barry M - Dragon Fruit, No. 7 - Me! Me! Me!, Essie - Your Hut Or Mine? and Barry M - Princess (which was a bad idea). Man remembering those are hard cause of the blending :/
Yellows: Ciate - Loop The Loop, M&S - Maize and Topshop - Naked (I think :/)
Orange: Chilli Pepper - Orange (no name)
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
Pale Green: China Glaze - Re-Fresh Mint and Glam Polish - Mars Attacks!
Green: Barry M - Greenberry with Barry M - Sour Apple
Dark Green: Barry M - Kiwi and Orly - Go Deeper
Teal: Barry M - Guava and Barry M - Aqua Glitter

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a nice day!! :)

Gimme Glitter: Barry M - Silver Glitter

Hey there guys, hope you're doing good. I'm throwing back to an old limited edition, recently I posted this year's Boots limited edition and today I have 2011's Boots limited edition. Wow the polish obsession has existed for a while. I had to check if it was 2011, but I have the 2012 Christmas limited editions so yes, 2011. And Barry M has always been awesome so this one is obviously good :P

So Silver Glitter is, as you can guess, silver glitter. At least then they named their limited editions in 2011, what happened after then for about 3 years? Anyway this silver glitter is in a clear base and isn't your standard silver glitter. The glitter is more like tiny tiny bars and it's really nice. Boots won the limited edition competition, as I'm pretty sure Superdrug didn't get any.

I have a super nice combo with this polish as part of this, and I explained the backstory of how this polish came to me (the 2 bottles I own) which I can assure you is super interesting. The lid is all holographic which is somewhat deceiving as if this polish was holographic I would be raving mad over it. But this I think a standard silver glitter should be part of all polish collections.

The glitter in this polish is crazy crazy dense, it's crazy. Here I have 1 coat. ONE COAT!! What even???! The glitter spread so well and didn't clump in any areas, so yeah Barry M's always had glitter polishes down. I put that ONE COAT over Revlon Dreamer.

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day!! :)

Red Nails: Barry M - Carousel

Hey guys!! I have an absolutely GORGEOUS polish today. What's happened to me? I am such a red gal lately and I don't even know why. I think I've been lucky enough to get a bunch of awesome reds and this one is the cherry. But not literally, this polish is very much not cherry coloured. But it's beautiful and I'm glad I snatched it up. Also the name, adorable!!

The colour of this just melts my heart. It is simply stunning, like I could just look at this colour and be happy. It's amazing.
Carousel is a beautiful light orange-y red polish with a very very subtle golden shimmer (which I really don't mind it not showing up, it's kind of like Barry M Blue Moon that way). I wonder when my eyes decided they loved red, it's weird but I love it. This is much more orange toned than any red I own and I think it's unique. I thought it could be a not textured OPI Jinx, but it's very different. And beautiful in it's own way!! :3

Part of this year's summer limited editions, I always snatch these up whenever they come out. And I think this year Boots has won the competition, as usually I think Superdrug has. I think what Superdrug has is nice, but Boots has super pretty cremes (especially this one!!) which are better. The names are also existing and are really good!! I'm glad they listened to my request ;) I'm so glad Barry M does these, cause they're special and more polish for me haha!! Oo and oh my goodness the lid has little hearts and it's the cutest thing ever!! :D

The formula was so perfect, 2 coats for full opacity. From seeing the bottle I thought this would be quite sheer but it was the very opposite and it glided and was smooth and generally perfect. If there are any bubbles as usual that's my fault for not waiting long enough. Another note is that the formula is quite thick and is the kind that if you don't apply quickly enough, the flaws in application will show. If you get me.

Thank you very much for reading and I hope you have a lovely day!! :)

The iPhone (Nail) Series: Plants vs Zombies

Hey there guys, new iPhone Nail Series!! It's been a while... Like 5 months... But I really did not have the time for special game app nail art haha. Hopefully I can make up for it today, cause I seriously LOVE this look. The plants are good biz. And the zombie was unexpectedly quite good, I'm very proud of it and it's something I just wouldn't really paint, and I like it.

Oh yeeaaaahhh, good Plants vs Zombies stuff. The plants are cute and happy and shootin' peas and exploding. And the zombies is quite scary(? Maybe? I don't really know :P), I'm just pleased that it's accurate to the games' version, and I didn't have a big old fail. That zombie is the height of realism at PlumeriaPainted!! I had bunches of black paint trying to get all the detail of the zombie, and it was worth it. So the plants I have here are the Sunflower, the Peashooter and the Potato Mine. Yeah just really happy that I conveyed the characters of the game right, and I really like how they look!! :)

Everyone likes Plants vs Zombies right? It's real time strategy for everyone (here's me pretending I know all about genres, hopefully it's RTS :/). It's so easy to get into and just start playing.
Admittedly I never finished the game, I got to the very last level and I had to retry about twice but I was about 1 hit away from beating the final boss and the battery ran out. And weirdly I never felt compelled to finish even years after to this day. But playing was really fun!! Though I was occasionally stressed playing the game, but we all have our strategies of getting through each level.
I think my favourite plant was the Squash (or Gourd as I called it for some reason, I blame Veggietales), cause it's OP, it's cheap and could defeat that giant zombie and could attack behind and overall it was a very useful plant. Also another favourite would have to be the Walnut, stalling was something that had to done frequently.
I know Plants vs Zombies 2 came out a while ago and I haven't played (but my close friends got it almost as soon as it came out, I think they preferred the first one?), and probably won't as I don't play many iPhone games anymore. But to me it seems that even though it's free, it tries to get you to pay more ingame. The plants look good though and it seems cuter, which I'm always onboard with.

Base: Barry M - Kiwi
Green: China Glaze - I'm With The Lifeguard over Illamasqua - Nomad
Light Green: Barry M - Mint Green over Max Factor - Cool Jade (I changed my mind, once I realised how great that green was for the grey zombie)
White: Barry M - Matt White and Lovely Me:Ex - White (as a base for the yellow)
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
