Gimme Glitter: OPI - Rainbow Connection

Hey there guys, I hope you're having a nice day presently. I've shown this polish a lot, but not in a proper Gimme Glitter post. Also over time my thoughts of this polish has changed gradually. Fun fact, this was my first OPI polish ever and I got it on Christmas Eve, it's a really cute first OPI story ;)

Rainbow Connection is a mix of shiny rainbow small and medium hexes in a clear base. Well not exactly rainbow, more pink, orange, gold, blue, green and silver. Man early polish days me just loved the sound of rainbow glitter and the name of this polish. But now it really falls flat, it just doesn't look very nice and I'm not as into metallic glitter as I used to be (with definite exceptions). The purple base was a bad call too, I thought that it would add the purple that's in a rainbow but it really didn't work. I'm just not sold on this polish.

This was from the Holiday Muppets Collection in 2011 (wow it's been a while), I remember a lot of people were disappointed with that collection. But the glitter polishes were meant to be layered, but present day me wouldn't be so keen on those polishes. An abundance of shiny glitter, though I think the mixes were better than Rainbow Connection, more straightforward and less messy.

My bottle is quite old so that must be partially to blame for the tricky formula, there was a lot of moving to be done for a somewhat even spread. It was also pretty like gooey (never described a polish like that before), but once again I blame that on old, halfway used bottle. I used 2ish coats, I used a loaded up brush and then touched up places without glitter.

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day!! :)

Lil' Half Moon Monsters

Hi there guys, I have more nail art!! This is a Chalkboard Nails tutorial and I really intended to do this sooner cause it's simple and sweet (like my 31 day challenge last year) but I changed my mind. And I finally went and did the manicure, it is rather cute. Everyone should give it a try, it's so easy.

What is this madness?? My nails are the other way round???
I changed it a little bit and made them into half moons which I really liked. My favourite might be the monster on my ring finger, I like the explosion of glitter and how the colours go together but generally it's a good way to get lots of colours (what I'm all about and I like the combination here) and just have a cute design. And Sarah's tutorial is of course great so big thumbs up from me. I also like the monster on my thumb, I think I just like the spiky hair.

After painting my base I got the brushes of the various polishes and freehanded the half moon and added glitter. I used various colours with toothpicks for the antenna and spiky hair and added glitter of course. Finally I added the faces with my black pen and white polish.

Base: Essie - Turquoise & Caicos and Barry M - Aqua Glitter
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
White: Barry M - Matt White
These all include the glitter
Dark Pink: Barry M - Fuchsia and Barry M - Fairy Lights
Light Purple: Barry M - Berry Ice Cream and Orly - Ridiculously Regal
Orange: Essie - Tart Deco and Essie - Shine of the Times
Dark Green: OPI - Jade Is The New Black and Orly - Go Deeper
Cherry Pink: OPI - Charged Up Cherry and OPI - Minnie Style
Green: Illamasqua - Nomad and Barry M - Sour Apple
Blue: Rimmel - Azure and Models Own - Freak Out!
Pink: No.7 - Me! Me! Me! and OPI - Polka.com
Purple: Illamasqua - Jo'Mina and Barry M - Tinsel Town
Light Blue: The Face Shop - GR501 and Hare Polish - The Teen Queen
I never actually realised how many polishes I used for this design, probably cause I didn't use that much of them.

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a nice day!! :)

Sea Green Nails: Essie - Turquoise & Caicos

Hello chums!! Yeah swatching again today, I had troubles with deciding what to name this post, I didn't want to called it turquoise nails (cause I feel like turquoise should be brighter), and obviously green and blue were too broad so sea green it was. Haha I'll post my old swatch of this, literally my first swatch ever, it was terrible, but I mentioned a good song in that post.

Turquoise & Caicos is a sea green jelly polish. Lots of people recommended this and stuff, but I don't know, I feel like the colour isn't that spectacular and I'll put my thoughts on the formula below. It's just not that special in my mind!!

This was one of my first Essies, when they first came out here and I really thought I'd love this polish. I really really did, but it ended up being my least favourite. I thought the colour would be so me, but I was extremely underwhelmed. Essie is still one of my favourite nail polish brands, I think the colours they do really pretty and good quality, for me it's not really about the ground-breaking colours but the pretty ones.

This was 4 coats, and it's still streaky :/ and the bubbles, I did wait but bubbles cause of the jelly formula. I know people like jelly formulas for the squishy look but I'd rather not have the bubbles, the 4 coats for a colour that I can get with half the coats, bubble free and is generally a pretty colour (i.e. Max Factor Cool Jade). And yeah speaking of colours that are similar to Turquoise & Caicos with better formulas, I have a comparison post.

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a lovely day!! :)

Rabbit (from Winnie the Pooh) Nails

Hello there fine folks on this lovely day (hopefully). This is my 5th Winnie the Pooh nail art design and I'm really liking them, here's my Eeyore one which links to the Tigger, Piglet and Winnie designs. This was my Easter manicure (now you have an idea of how behind I am) cause of Rabbit, and that's Easter appropriate. I got no chocolate eggs but I'm really ok with that, I get more than enough chocolate anyway. My Rabbit design is different from my other ones cause this one follows more closely with how Rabbit actually looks, oo being more artsy!! But not really.

So here I have Rabbit amongst a bunch of carrots and polka dots, I am really proud of how Rabbit turned out, it's nice when things work out right and I think it looks nice. The carrots were dodgier but I don't think they detract at all, and of course polka dots are always cute. I'm onboard with all cute things so I like this a lot.

I started with the polka dots with a bobby pin and I began to tackle Rabbit. I started with a general white base and added the black outline first(!), and then kind of coloured it in. Man proportioning will always be an issue for me but I got there eventually. I finally used my toothpicks for the carrots, I tried making them artsy but in the end I always fall back on cartoony.

Base: w7 - Sheer Lemon and Essie - Shine of the Times
Red: Essie - E-Nuff Is E-Nuff
Yellow: Barry M - Lemon Ice Cream
Pink: Per Una - Pink (no name)
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
White: Lovely Me:Ex - White and Barry M - Matt White
Orange: Essie - Fear or Desire
Light Orange (that you can't see at all :/): Rimmel - It's a Scorcher!
Green: OPI - Jade Is The New Black

Thank you very much for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day!!! :)

Gimme Glitter: Barry M - Aqua Glitter (Reswatched)

Hiya ma people, I think we can always appreciate a good Barry M glitter, especially when I reswatch it and it actually looks nice cause my old swatches were really bad. But yes this glitter is great and as if I didn't already need all the Barry M polishes, this is just another polish that solidifies that idea.

Aqua Glitter is a clear base filled with small turquoise and even smaller glitter. It's pretty and I really like it over a blue/green polish cause it shows off the glitter pretty well.

As if I need to express my love for Barry M again, Aqua Glitter isn't my favourite Barry M polish ever, but it's a very solid polish. In my yearly favourites, Barry M always dominates.

I put 2 coats over Essie Turquoise & Caicos and it spread over well and lots of glitter per coat, and I never really ask for more than that.

Thanks for reading and I hope you have a nice day!! :)

Yellow Nails: w7 - Sheer Lemon

Hey there guys, unusual thing happening over here, yellow nail polish! Ok it's not that crazy but ya'know yellow polish needs to happen sometimes, and this one was given to me by my bezzie!! And guuuiiiisssseeee the worst 2 weeks of my exams are over!!! WOOHOO!! I be so pumped that I sat and did nothing!! WHAT??! I haven't just sat and chilled without guilt for a while (I add without guilt cause I have sat and done nothing cause procrastination :P). Man it's great when things are this way, only 2 more weeks to go and it's the more manageable exams, the last 2 weeks have been hard man. Cause I'm cool I've also decided to celebrate by reading, not only my some of my favourite books (the Unwind series, man I NEED the 3rd book!!) but also some plays be J.B. Priestley cause I'm really cool :)

Sheer Lemon is a light yellow polish, there's really not much else to say. I'm actually struggling, well I do quite like this polish, a good yellow.

w7 is a great brand and I feel is underrated, the polish is mad cheap and mad good quality. Oo also the colours and finishes are mad (in a good way), if you have easy access to their polishes, go grab like!

Even though I think w7 is brilliant, this is not the best polish to represent them formula wise. It was um 4 coats, thin coats but still 4. Also you can see bubbles, but I've seen worst bubbles before. Otherwise the formula was smooth and manageable, but not the best.

Thanks for reading and I hope you have a nice day!! :)

Blue + Orange Rose Nail Art

Hi there guys, I hope you're doing well. I'm glad that I have posts but you don't even know how behind I am, stuff you're going to be seeing is from months ago :/ But once again at least I have stuff to post, and a lot of the time I'm not in that position. But I am extremely busy right now, I have some pretty serious exams (and they could be happening right now :/ yep this is how behind I am/writing in kind of advance, it's all very time travelling-esque, and mostly confusing for myself and you) and I can't wait 'til they're over, the world will be a beautiful place and I can partake in nail challenges, when was the last time that happened for me? Anyway, I have rose nail art, inspired by Nailed It, her manicure was sweet.

So I kind of liked this manicure at the beginning but slowly I liked it less and less. I feel like I was just less proud of my execution, and I wasn't that proud of it in the first place. So here we have some sub-standard roses on a pink base, and oh yeah wasn't so keen on my colour combo either. Overall I just don't think this was a very successful manicure, but here at PlumeriaPainted I document the successes, the failures and the manicures in between (that's actually not a bad tagline).

I first used the brushes of the polishes to blob the shapes of the flowers, got ma toothpicks and put bunches of lines in each flower and then the black outlining came in. Oh yeah and I did the same kind of thing for the leaves, the dark green outlining was one of the few good ideas I had for this manicure.

Base: Color Club - Wing Fling and OPI - I Lily Love You
(Ok things get dodgy around here, normally I remember every polish but this was really done a while ago so there'll be gaps, but really the only person that is bothered by that is me)
Blue: Nails Inc - Baker Street, Essie - Lots of Lux, OPI - Last Friday Night, Revlon - Dreamer and Barry M - Blueberry Ice Cream
Orange: Essie - Tart Deco, Rimmel - It's a Scorcher!, Essie - Fear or Desire and OPI - Jinx
Green: China Glaze - I'm With The Lifeguard over Lovely Me:Ex - White
Dark Green: OPI - Jade Is The New Black
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day!! :)

Geometric Glitter Rainbows

Hello there!! Finally I have some nail art and I'm loving this, I love some geometric rainbows and pack it with glitter, I'm in nail art heaven :P It was another "hmmmm I don't know what to do with my nails" and I went with the flow (that's how all the glitter happened) and love it, again they are the best manicures :)

So you see a geometric design with a ton of glitter, like a lot of glitter, and that's the way uh-huh uh-huh I like it uh-huh uh-huh. Yep I just referenced that. I didn't intend of this much glitter but that's what happened after going with the flow. I was just going to do a glitter base then do the black outlines on top but then I thought the black outline was boring by itself so I added a bunch of glitter. I loved the outcome, I really did, and the glitter base was fun it reminded me how awesome Barry M Superdrug Xmas LE 2012 B is, it's still beautiful :)

I painted my base, dabbed different sections of my nails with different glitter polishes (mostly half-half horizontally or vertically) and once that dried I got my black nail art pen and painted on the rainbows. Then I got some toothpicks and put some over some of the lines and for the other black lines I used a sparkly black textured polish so it wasn't too overloaded with glitter haha.

Blue: Barry M - Blueberry Ice Cream
Base glitter polishes: Hare Polish - The Teen Queen, OPI - Polka.com, OPI - Rainbow Connection, The Face Shop - CMX321 and Barry M - Superdrug Xmas LE 2012 B
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
Black with green: M&S - Petrol
Glitter on top of the black lines: Barry M - Fairy Lights, Essie - Shine of the Times, Barry M - Amethyst and Barry M - Aqua Glitter
I was going to use more glitter, but restricted myself, I'm good at restricting myself.

Thank you very much for reading and I hope you have a lovely day!! :)

Gimme Glitter: OPI - I Lily Love You (Reswatched)

Hi there guys, hope you're having a good time (just in general I guess). I'm kind of swatching this polish again, now my first swatch really is in the early days of this blog and it was weirdly passable compared to my other shocking swatches in those days. It really was one of the first swatches on this blog and this polish is still really nice.

I Lily Love you is a sheer pink base with various types of iridescent glitter, squares, shards and just lots of types of glitter. I might've said that I don't like iridescent glitter but I love it like this, it's so pretty!!

I Lily Love You is from OPI's Nice Stems 2011 Summer collection (pretty sure anyway), and I liked the whole set cause you know it's all pink. And I Lily Love You is such an adorable name just putting it out there :3

The spread of glitter was really good, no need for pushing or anything, I used 2 coats cause I wanted a lot of glitter. I made sure I packed the brush first and 2 coats gave me a lot of glitter so it was good. The shards poked out a little bit but topcoat cures all (depending on how good your topcoat is). I put this over Color Club Wing Fling, good combo in my mind.

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a lovely day!! :)

Pink Nails: Color Club - Wing Fling

Hi my people, I have an awesome Color Club polish for you today. I <3 the 2 Color Club polishes I own and I have been searching TK Maxx high and low for more (and also because of their amazing topcoat, I LOVE that topcoat), but to no prevail and no one else sells Color Club :( One day they will come to me :P Wow I don't know what I'm saying sometimes, anyway this one is gorgeous and I love pink polish, I'm a little girl at heart.

Wing Fling is a gorgeous dark pink/fuchsia glass fleck polish with a hint of duochrome (not strong at all, it's kind of gold-ish I guess but doesn't really show on the nail), and yeah it's beautiful. Blue and pink polish are my two favourite polish colours and there are tons of great pink polishes and this really is one of them.

Wing Fling is from Color Club's 2012 Summer Take Wing collection, TK Maxx gave the whole collection but I gave most of them away, but I kept Sky High and I loved that one a lot. The collection was full of glass fleck polishes in most of the rainbow and it was a brilliant collection.

The neon coral jumper strikes again
2 coats, 0 fuss, 0 issues. I love when formulas are like that, you can't ask for more and makes things so much easier.

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a nice day!! :)

Blue Nails: Barry M - Blueberry Ice Cream

Hey guys, hope you're having a nice day so far. I got this polish in the very very early days of my nail art obsession, way before this blog and yet I'm only writing the post now. I guess when I get new polish I swatch it right away cause I have to and then the old stuff kind of gets forgotten about. But I have been swatching a bunch and this polish is good. Just saying that my bottle is old and used up which is why my swatch isn't the best (i.e. a wee bit lumpy) but even with formula problems I still recommend this polish.

Pictures are a lil' bit pink cause I wore my neon coral jumper when taking pictures :/
Blueberry Ice Cream is a lovely medium blue creme, I love my blue polish and this colour is just great. Can't really say much more.

There were a bunch of Barry M Ice Cream polishes and I think I have all of them. I love Barry M in case you didn't know. It's my fav, just everything about Barry M is perfect. A girl needs all the Barry M's in her life :P

The formula is pretty perfect minus the gloopiness, again my is an old bottle but when it was new it applied perfectly. The polish is naturally on the thick side, but 1 coat, 1 coat is all you need!! My bottle is also quite close to empty and I still could do 1 coat. It's so opaque it's great, it was still lumpy after my topcoat but given the circumstances it's still an awesome polish.

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day!! :)

Red Nails: Essie - Leading Lady

Hi guys, my exams are starting tomorrow and oh gall this is the real deal, this is actually happening, I'm kind of procrastinating but will be going back to my work and oh man this is real, like serious real man exams. I do have a bunch of posts scheduled cause I'm not joking when I say I'm behind, like you'll find out how much soon. Nails have obviously taken the backseat :( but I cannot describe how ecstatic I am for these exams to be over, I cannot describe!! I should have posts, but there may be a point where I run out, but not for long, anyway I know I mostly really post for myself. Hopefully I'll be back properly with good stuff (and good polish :P). Probs see you all on the flipside when my blogaversary comes woohoo!!
Anyway this is the other polish I got with Shine of the Times and I have good things to say. And like Shine of the Times I went out looking for this, not specially this polish but I thought TK Maxx might have the Winter 2012 collection (at that time), so I could get Butler Please (i.e. my guilt free Baker Street which I own another version anyway) but this one too if I could. And that fateful day I got it more than a year later, but I'm still pumped :)

Leading Lady is a dark red base filled with small red glitter and it's gorgeous!! Like I love it!! I am not a red polish girl but this is stunning. The red glitter in it makes it amazing amazing amazing. It glows from within, I don't like dark red but with that glitter it is seriously amazing. I loved Nails Inc Regents Park too, maybe I'm changing into a red polish kind of gal, and I would not mind. Red is mad sophisticated.

I really liked the Essie Winter 2012 collection, I genuinely liked all the polishes in it (though I could've done without the identical red cremes, in my mind there are only so many red cremes a girl needs) and that's why I was looking out for it in TK Maxx cause I was not going to pay full price for it. It wasn't that special. Essie is one of my favourite brands and I'm glad TK Maxx gives me a way to get some for a good price, TK Maxx is my love, I have mentioned this a lot before.

I used 3 coats for this swatch but 2 is definitely enough, I actually preferred wearing this with 2 coats cause the red is lighter and more pink-toned which I preferred but it's sparklier with 3 coats so it's give and take. I did the 3 coats for parts of nail that weren't completely glitter packed (cause I'm all about glitter packed) and the tip wear was bad.
So that leads to my one complaint for this polish, the wear time, after a day I got really bad chips and the whole thing peeled off really easily, also I tend to not get chips in general. And I had nail art so I wasn't unable to take pictures and you'll never get to see it :( (but it wasn't very special, it was just a leopard print) so bad wear time. But I totally forgive Leading Lady because of how gorgeous it is, I can forgive all gorgeous polish.

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a really great day!! :)

Gimme Glitter: Essie - Shine of the Times

Hi there guys, hope you are all having a great time. As usual I have a Gimme Glitter post, and this polish... Ok I went to TK Maxx and as if I didn't already love TK Maxx I went searching through the polish and saw Shine Of The Times (with some other polishes, one of them I will be showing soon) and thought "Is this real?".
It's obviously not the rarest polish but I put that on my wishlist in the early days of my polish obsession, years ago and bam it's there. See there was no way I was going to get it for full price after quite a long time and me convincing myself I didn't need it, also I couldn't find it, I thought when Essie came to Boots (the summer of the beginning of my obsession) Shine Of The Times would be there, but no.
But there it is in TK Maxx glowing like the sun (ok not the sun), I had searched the place thinking there was nothing good but once I saw the little set (which was reduced, bonus!) I snatched it up. And oh my, it's wonderful.

Shine of the Times is a clear base packed full of opalescent flakies, ok I've mentioned I don't like opalescent before, but Shine of the Times is different because it's so pretty. And that was before I'd experienced the real deal, this is the real deal, China Glaze Luxe & Lush was a not pretty and rough lie. The flakies are also much smaller and I don't know work together better, probably doesn't make sense but I like the flakies smaller.
Shine of the Times is mesmerising, the shift from red to green (with orange and yellow in-between) is fantastic, it was great when all the colours could be seen at once. I loved the combo with Barry M Guava but my camera hates teal so it's looks more blue but it was beautiful. Over a darker polish the flakies would go insane, I'd really like a multicoloured flakie polish too now, need to try and find a good one.

This polish was from Essie's 2011 Holiday Luxeffects and this was definitely the standout for me, my young polish mind couldn't handle it. Well facades were broken by certain polishes (still looking at you Luxe & Lush, I gave it to my friend by the way) but if I had got this when I was looking for it, my mind would've been blown.
The Luxeffects line is still going which I like cause ya'know it's glitter, but nothing that really grabs my attention (like this anyway) but there's still the hope that something incredible will come (I'm so dramatic sometimes :/) :P

This was 1 coat, packed I tell you packed it was!! And the spread was great, not tricksy whatsoever. This is clearly the way flakies are meant to be, and the manicure was smooth (other flakie polishes were not smooth, we know who I'm talking about). Everything is going swimmingly with this polish and I intend to keep it that way when I use it for nail art (how I'm going to use it, I don't know, but we'll find out).

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a lovely day!! :)

Teddy bear + Tribal + Matte glitter nails

Hey there guys, I finally have some nail art and it's quite cute. I really like animal nail art which mean oops I've done a lot of bear nail art. But let's just say this one is different.

So I have a pink bear with some tribal and glitter, as the title would suggest. I got the tribal from an image on Google, no watermark :( cause I was tired and I'm not good at coming up with tribal designs on the spot. I like the extra pink sparkle added onto the pink of the tribal. And of course The Teen Queen looks awesome cause it is one awesome glitter. I really love Hare Polish, it's so unique and pretty. I like the bear too, like how everything comes together even if it maybe shouldn't.

The mani was a tash thick cause of all the glitter but after that I painted a semi-circle for the bear and added the details accordingly. And for the tribal I got my toothpick and pink polish and painted it straight on, thankfully it was in a straight line cause wonkyness would've drove me insane.

Base: Rimmel - Black Pearl, Nails Inc - Glamour Glitter and Rimmel - Disco Ball
Blue and pale pink glitter: Hare Polish - The Teen Queen
Pink: Orly - Basket Case
Red Pink: OPI - Charged Up Cherry
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
White: Barry M - Matt White
Shimmery pink on top of the red pink (good description me): Barry M - Princess

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day!! :)

Gimme Glitter: Barry M - Amethyst (Reswatched)

Hi guys, I decided to reswatch this polish cause I wasn't so crazy about my first swatch of this, it was blurry though to be honest it probably showed the glitter better than what I'm showing you today. But um yeah I be a genius cause I had a genius idea on how to wear this polish and I loved it. Still thanks to my pal who got this for me, Barry M = my love.

Amethyst consists of black, gold, aqua, purple and pink small hexes with smaller aqua glitter. Still is a pretty cool mix, still trying to find a way to use it awesomely in nail art.
At least this swatch shows how reflective this polish is. See I don't like the dull quality of shiny glitter, it doesn't mean I don't like this but it doesn't make me crazy. Oh how my swatches have changed, I do think I have got better. My swatches no longer have shocking cuticles, terrible lighting and unfocusedness (most of the time).

This polish is CRAZY dense, this was 1 coat right here (over No. 7 Me! Me! Me!). It required a little bit of moving but I did manage to get it all spread and that's a lot of glitter for 1 coat. And the last time I posted about this I said removal was a nightmare but honestly it wasn't too bad, I think as long as the coats aren't thick everything is ok.

Now this here is win. Cause I wasn't convinced by the before manicure so I thought jellying could be a good idea and oh man it was. I love how jellying kind of gives the appearance of matter glitter, and now you can clearly see all the colours of the glitter and it's boss. I didn't fail jelly 101 either and did thin coats of jelly, helped by the fact that Barry M Superdrug Summer 2013 LE A is rather sheer.

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a nice day!! :)

Gimme Glitter: Nails Inc - Glamour Glitter

Hello!! More glitter to give, I like giving glitter cause I have a lot. Not gonna lie. I got this polish free in Glamour magazine, the only reason I ever buy magazines. I also got Motcomb Street from Glamour magazine, but I gave it away cause I didn't like it. Hoping that magazines start giving polish colours that are more me, but I'll take any polish.

Glamour Glitter is a glitter topper with small and even smaller (good technical term) gold and silver-y gold glitter. Nothing groundbreaking, probably good for some extra sparkle. But you know me, I'm all about the full on sparkle so this doesn't really do anything for me. Though I just like having a gold glitter in my collection, but I would consider giving this away (I don't use it very much).

It was Nails Inc for like £10 cheaper, I wasn't going to say no this is me. The black and gold combo is pretty rockin' though. When I love a Nails Inc polish I love it, and this is not hitting the mark.

I used 2 coats over Rimmel Black Pearl, it was quite base heavy so I had to load up my brush so it was a tiny bit thick. The glitter didn't spread perfectly but it wasn't bad.

Thanks for reading and I hope you have a nice day!! :)

Pink Nails: No.7 - Me! Me! Me!

Hey guys!! Another pink nails post today, I think I own the most pink polish, I just love pink. I got this polish ages ago, it was the first hot pink polish I ever got (and many more followed). I didn't have my swatch series when I got it so I kind of forgot to do a post about Me! Me! Me! (and the typing the name requires more effort), but we're here today and I also forgot how gorgeous this polish is, it's gorgeous man.

Like really. How did I forget? This is stunning, I <3 <3 <3 pinks like this and I guess I got distracted by Orly Basket Case and I think Me! Me! Me! looks even better in real life.
So yeah Me! Me! Me! is a hot pink creme, no frills, a straight up pink polish. I can't ask for anymore, I really love this, it's a shame I used a ton of this "back in the day" cause my bottle is quite depleted.

No. 7 is Boots own brand of makeup and skincare, and clearly the quality of polish is very high from my experiences with their polish (and I heard the other stuff in the line is good too) and I've been looking up swatches and the polish looks so legit, clearly this is something I need to look more into (they have a dupe of Deborah Lippmann's Mermaid's Dream, clearly I need to snatch that up). When Boots were giving away the £5 off vouchers like crazy my friend's mum let me use it and yes I got this, she's the best.

The formula was fabulous, it was very opaque, glided in an elegant way and the brush was perfect. 2 coats done, 1 coat for short nails, probably. Seriously the No. 7 formula is good, I really do need to get more. Problem is I'm saying I need a lot more of a lot of brands :/ Need to sort myself out haha. I have a comparison post with Me! Me! Me! cause crazily enough I have a few polishes similar to this.

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you have a lovely day!! :)
