Hello there you wonderful people, here we are, last post of the year. Is this appropriate for New Year's Eve? I don't know and I don't care, though the glitter probably constitutes it as appropriate. As always I'll just be chilling at home for NYE (I only realised what this abbreviation was this time last year), I also never realised people actually did crazy shizz for New Year, I like home and I like the internet. The internet is a happy place (sometimes :P).
Anyway I love me some geometric designs so I went to Google, asked for some geometric designs and found this funky trapezium one, though trapezium makes me sound like a nerd, I like it that way :)
I love this, geometric designs are the bomb. And you know me, add all the colours and I'm in love. I just LOVE colour!! If there is any way I can pack in all the colours, I will.
This is pretty insane, it's like of like those 3D boxes without the box part. Then I had to add glitter strips, I was going crazy clearly cause I placed all that glitter, I love the look and honestly I didn't mind all the placing, I actually find it quite fun, I want to create all kinds of placed glitter looks. I added a black outline cause I can't help it, but black outlines are awesome. Maybe this would've been better with a white base, but I really like the crazy glittery pink base, adds to the chaos.
This actually wasn't too hard to do, see there's no proportioning or any of that nonsense to worry about. I did my black outline, got a white base and filled the colours. Though I went over the black outline again after I painted the colour.
For the glitter rows (I intended to do more glitter rows but I painted without thinking and a glitter row was lost) I got a toothpick and placed every single piece of glitter, it was only hard for the green glitter in Rainbow Connection cause it was stuck to all the other colours of glitter in the bottle so I had to first find the green glitter then attempt to separate it. Having that glitter on the tips was bad cause I kept poking myself with it and it's rough.
Ok as you can guess I used a lot of colours for this, I know no one cares but I love listing polishes so bear with me ;)
Base: Barry M - Dragon Fruit, Barry M - Fairy Lights and The Face Shop - CMX321
Black and white base: Lovely Me:Ex - Black and Lovely Me:Ex - White
All the colours of cremes: OPI - Charged Up Cherry, Nails Inc - Baker Street, The Face Shop - GR501, Rimmel - Sunshine, The Face Shop - PK105, Barry M - Blueberry Ice Cream, Essie - Fear Or Desire, M&S - Sun Glow, Barry M - Guava, Essie - Tart Deco, OPI - My Current Crush, Illamasqua - Jo'Mina, M&S - Poppy, Max Factor - Cool Jade and China Glaze - I'm With The Lifeguard
Black glitter: Barry M - Ruby (the black glitter in it)
All the glitter: OPI - Rainbow Connection, Orly - Ridiculously Regal, OPI - Polka.com, Orly - Go Deeper, Hare Polish - The Teen Queen, Barry M - Superdrug Xmas LE 2012 B and OPI - Minnie Style
I feel like 2013 went quite quickly, not as quickly as other years though so I'm hoping that there's a chance that life isn't going past obscenely fast. I didn't have the greatest year in real life (oh real life :/) but it wasn't the worst either, hopefully 2014 is a good one full of improvement.
Guys thank you for following my blog over the past year, I had a good year here (excluding the odd blip), I feel like my nail art, photography and hand care (definitely hand care) improved and it's been enhanced so much by your awesome comments and just your reading which I really appreciate. Thank you for reading my crazy thoughts and taking a look at my nail art, to another enjoyable year on PlumeriaPainted!! Hope you have a fantastic day and great start to your new year!! :D

Pink Nails: Barry M Royal Glitter - Princess
Hi there guys!! I guess I'll been ending off this year with swatches (well not tomorrow, I have nail art for that), I love trying out new polishes and in general I feel like I'm closer to swatching my stash (but that will take a while, a long while...). Barry M have been absolutely incredible this year, you probably have read me raving here cause I rave about Barry M so often, Barry M will definitely be featuring in my favourites. This is the other textured polish I had my eye on and it's gorgeous, I knew I wouldn't be disappointed!!
Peachy pink, golden shimmer with silver glitter. Genuinely one of the most unique textured polishes I've seen this year (in all the brands) and just gorgeous. Looks the same with topcoat like Lady, I love peachy pink and that shimmer is so pretty. Another winner in the Barry M books. Pale pink doesn't really suit me but I feel like this one sort of does (not in all lightings though, take away the direct lighting and this doesn't work on me, but I don't care :P). Also isn't Princess such a cute name? :3
As you can guess this came out in the Royal Textured Polishes Barry M released recently, I swatched Lady the other day, I don't think I'll get anymore cause the other colours are really not me. My friend said she'd buy this for me for my birthday (cause she asked me for nail polish suggestions), then she said she'd buy me it for Christmas, but she'd forgotten. But we went shopping together and I found this polish, handed it to her and told her to buy it for me. Haha is that wrong? I feel like close friends can do that to each other, wasn't overly surprised when Christmas rolled around :P But of course I'm thankful that she got it for me. Trust me, she's used to me :P
I used 3 coats, but 2 coats would do for shorter nails and people who don't hate VNL with a passion. Otherwise formula was perfect, no issues whatsoever applying, which I think Barry M has mastered.
Just a note, in real life the polish is a touch lighter (depending on the lighting), still just as pretty though |

Pink Nails: Barry M - Dragon Fruit
Hey there guys!! Ok this "swatch" is "exciting", this is the final polish in my favourite polishes on this year, I've decided this would be the "closing" polish and oh man it's gonna be a fun list. I was meant to get this polish earlier but I waited and I should know that I shouldn't wait for the Barry M's, they are fantastic, and this one is no different.
Dragon Fruit is your "standard" medium pink, I don't know why but I LOVE pink!! Pink is one of my favourite colours, you'd think as you grew up you'd like pink less but no, if anything I love pink more. Dragon Fruit has a subtle silver shimmer which is SO pretty and occasionally looks green/pink in direct lighting. I thought this was my favourite Gelly the moment I tried it, but after I got over that I realised maybe it doesn't rank that high but it is up there, I love this polish!! I say that about all the Gellies!!
This came from the Spring Gelly collection this year, fabulous set it was. The gellies have been killing it this year and I'm going to get them all. Hopefully next year the gellies will be just as (or even more, if that's possible) amazing.
My nails are rather long right now so I needed 3 coats to even out streaks, maybe 2 coats would work for shorter nails but I don't know I feel like 3 coats is like standard issue because of streaks, and not like the streaks were bad though. But it was easy to apply and generally was no hassle. Like the gellies usually are.

White Nails: Barry M Royal Glitter - Lady
Hi there guys, first ever white nails post. It's a rare thing for me to have plain white nails, but obviously this one is a lil' special. I think the Barry M textures released were fabulous and very very unique compared to every other texture released. I'm hoping to get my hands on another one of them.
I describe Lady as shimmering show, the perfect shimmering snow polish. It's a white texture filled with opalescent shimmer and glitter (basically flashes orange and green that you can't see in this photo but it's very prominent in real life), it's so pretty. Not frosty whatsoever if that's a worry of anybody's. Not like anyone's swatch of this is frosty, but you'd think a white like this would be frosty but that's not the case at all.
This came out pretty recently with 4 other textured polishes, you know dark/neutral colours aren't for me but they are really pretty and complex. They have a very sophisticated feel (not just the texture hahaha unintentional pun) to them and I really like that, once again very unique in the texture world in my opinion. Very special stuff I say.
I used 3 coats but I probably could've used 4 cause there was a tiny bit of VNL. It builds well but each coat isn't particularly opaque. Maybe I could put it over white. Otherwise no formula issues, went on very easily and wasn't gritty to apply or anything which I thought would be the case for all textured polish but clearly they are all made with magic haha :P
It doesn't look very different with topcoat, but this had a fast dry time for me even without. I can imagine Lady having a good wear time (Lady reminds me of Lady and the Tramp even though this polish has nothing to do with that).
Sorry for the state of my fingers, my lighting was quickly running out and I swear I cleaned up, obviously not well enough |

Penguin Aurora
Hi there guys!! Ok this was the other half of my Christmas manicure but like I'm all out of order here on the blog but whatever, this wasn't as Christmas related so I thought it would be appropriate to post now. I was meant to match but then I didn't want to paint Kermit twice (and I'm glad I made that decision). So I did something simpler, but I LOVED it!!
Penguin and glitter gradients, LOVE. Seriously the index and middle gradients might be the best glitter gradients I've ever done, the combo is GORGEOUS!! Now my gradients were pretty sub-standard but this is why I love glitter, it enhances every gradient a million times better. I might do a full manicure of that gradient, I love it!! The penguin is pretty cute and was so easy to paint, I made a little bow out of placed glitter which I think is mega cute. I wrote aurora cause I like the word, but the gradients kind of give that aurora feel (well I think anyway).
I get lazy during gradients, I'm meant to sponge them but then it's such a slow process that I just get the brush and paint it on, which works so all is ok. The glitter gradients look amazing matte, all glitter should be mattified cause in general it looks incredible.
Blue of the penguin: OPI - Get Your Number
White: Barry M - Matt White
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
Orange: Essie - Tart Deco
Light blue to purple to pink gradient: M&S - Ultraviolet to Barry M - Prickly Pear to Barry M - Dragon Fruit
Pink/purple/blue glitter: OPI - Polka.com (I LOVE THAT PURPLE GLITTER!! Ok this glitter is just so pretty)
Teal to purple to dark blue gradient: M&S - Peacock to OPI - Plum & Get It to Kiko - 265
Square glitter: OPI - Lights Of Emerald City (Ok I love those squares, clearly I need more square glitter, clearly I need more of all the glitter cause I clearly don't have enough glitter haha :P)

This is tree-mendous!!
Hi there guys!! Hope you had a fabulous Christmas and ate all the food, cause one has to eat ALL THE FOOD!! Especially the potatoes haha :P But really the holidays are the best for getting everyone together and I hope you enjoyed your company :)
My friend gave me a Christmas card and I LOVED the design on it so I nail-arted it, also I was trying out new polishes, I love trying out new polishes.
I'll have a picture of the card at the bottom, but there are basically super cute crazy Christmas trees. Tree-mendous if I do say so myself ;) I love all the trees and this might be my favourite Christmas design, what can I say I love all things colourful.
Thumb and pinky has one of the w7 trio polishes I got, and I LOVE it. This was on my wishlist a while ago but I thought I'd never be able to get it. So polish dreams really do come true :P It just looks awesome and the glitter is another part of the gift from my best friend and I love it too, especially that purple glitter, it's so pretty!! And that glitter was also on my wishlist at one point, so yeah polish dreams come true.
White with black glitter: w7 - Salt n Pepper
Pink/purple/aqua glitter topper: OPI - Polka.com
Peach: w7 - Linen
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
White: Barry M - Matt White and Lovely Me:Ex - White

Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection, the lovers, the dreamers and me
Merry Christmas to all you celebrators!!!! Writing up this post before our festivities begin. Ok the fact that I'm showing this polish around Christmas again is merely a coincidence. Every year at Christmas time I bust out this polish, it's because I got OPI Rainbow Connection, Christmas Eve 2 years ago and I blame OPI for releasing that in the winter collection 2 years ago. Also it was my first ever OPI (and only growing since haha :P). The song is so cheesy and cute and my aunt introduced it to me and it's all so sweet and appropriate so it's my Christmas mani (and um another design, I can never match ;)).
So there's little Kermit with his banjo in the forest, I feel this manicure translated WAY better in photos and as always I'll take it, it's a Christmas miracle haha. I really liked the rainbow nails before the glitter and sandwich, there were just rainbow stripes and they looked awesome, I'll be doing a manicure like that sometime soon.
While I might not have watched a Muppets movie ever, I connect them with Christmas because of OPI, see nail polish does influence things (as if we didn't know that ;)).
I wasn't up for painting a really detailed forest that was just going to be painted over so I did an abstract scene and I really like it. I just sponged on a bunch of colours and for the wood I did brushstrokes with various brown polishes.
I sandwiched the glitter which might not have been the best idea but the glitter does look better in my opinion though the base did pay for that. Also I mattified the design cause I do love matte nails and I haven't had them for ages, I really like it matte.
Green of Kermit: Illamasqua - Nomad and China Glaze - I'm With The Lifeguard
White: Barry M - Matt White
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
Red: Essie - E-Nuff Is E-Nuff
Pink: Essie - Your Hut Or Mine? and OPI - Japanese Rose Garden
Silver: w7 - Silver Mirror
Rainbow nails (from red to pink): Essie - E-Nuff Is E-Nuff, Essie - Fear Or Desire, Rimmel - Sunshine, Illamasqua - Nomad, Barry M - Blueberry Ice Cream, Illamasqua - Jo'Mina, Barry M - Dragon Fruit and the white base was Barry M - Matt White
Rainbow glitter and jelly: OPI - Rainbow Connection and M&S - Soft Pink (just a warning, don't expect to see this one again, it's so sheer, probably for french manicures which is the exact reason you probably won't be seeing it again)
Blue: Revlon - Dreamer (how appropriate right?)
Sponged base: Barry M - Prickly Pear, Barry M - Dragon Fruit, Max Factor - Cool Jade, China Glaze - I'm With The Lifeguard, OPI - Jade Is The New Black, Essie - Turquoise & Caicos
Glitter on the base: Barry M - Aqua Glitter, OPI - Last Friday Night and Rimmel - Disco Ball
Brown: Paris Collection - Mauve Melody, w7 - Brownie, Ciate - Cookies & Cream and The Face Shop - GL112
As you can tell many polishes were used for this manicure, it's Christmas, the time to use all the polishes :P

Rudolph with your nose so bright
Hi there guys!! Christmas Eve, how exciting. I have to say school killed my Christmas mood stone dead cause of all the work I had and just how generally rubbish school is. I LOVE Christmas but I haven't felt particularly Christmassy, though I know Christmas day will be great. I'm going to a carol service this evening so that should be nice, a gospel choir, awk it'll be fabulous.
I tried to post my Christmas nail designs over Christmas but lol I fail, expect to see one or two after Christmas. Then all the swatches, I am excited to finally swatch polishes I got in November and after :)
I did a reindeer design last year but I felt I should do another dedicated to Rudolph, the idea was his (or her, mine looks more like a her) nose was so bright that it lit up all the Christmas lights. Haha I was also trying out some new polishes. I do like the look overall but I think my lights could've been painted better (yet it translates better in photos and I'll take it) but Rudolph is alright. I like the glittered up nose.
I like the combo of the blue base and the glitter, I'll tell the "story" of how I got the blue polish (by the way it's not the Nails Inc one!! Pretty sure this one is a dupe, or close to it) and other polishes I got with it. The glitter was a wonderful wonderful gift from my best friend and she got me some others and it was the best gift ever, love her :3 I think was the combo was weird, but I liked it. Though removal was not a breeze, that's the thing with the packed with small glitter polishes, the glitter takes ages to come off and then it gets everywhere. But love both of those polishes.
Blue base: w7 - Mosaic
Once I've mentioned the other polishes I got with this I'll tell the "story", I got quite the deal and I love all the w7 polishes I got, they are fantastic.
Glitter: OPI - Lights Of Emerald City
How appropriate right? This was on my wishlist for the longest time until I managed to persuade myself that I didn't need it. But I really really like it, my bezzie is just the greatest. I hope she liked my present as much as I loved hers. Also if you knew how much we talk about Wicked you'd know how even more appropos it is :P
Red: Essie - E-Nuff Is E-Nuff
Yellow: Rimmel - Sunshine
Green: Rimmel - Block your Green!
Blue: Rimmel - Azure
White base for lights: Lovely Me:Ex - White
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
White: Barry M - Matt White
Brown: Nails Inc - Porchester Square
Dark Brown: w7 - Brownie
Red Nose: OPI - Dutch Tulips and the pink glitter from OPI - Minnie Style
Pink: Orly - Basket Case

Rainbow Snowflakes
Hello there!! Hopefully you are all on your holidays and enjoying it, I'm really looking forward to doing nothing to the max. I hope everyone is doing their year end favourites about now but I like doing mine in January (also I haven't swatches everything yet and the end of the year always brings a surge of polishes into my lap and deciding whether to include them or not is a debate).
Anyway, every year I feel like I have to do snowflake nails but this is definitely my coolest design (see what I did there), I really like snowflakes too so obviously I need them to reappear every year (though not in real life, I really don't think I've seen a real snowflake ever).
Eeeeeeeee I love all the colours!!! As you can tell snowflakes in all the colours, everything bright and colourful is my favourite so this is just great. It was also nice and simple to paint, that's always nice.
I got my toothpicks and freehanded all the snowflakes, pretty standard. Painting over textured polish was quite nice too as I don't know I felt like I had more control. Trying to keep everything nicely positioned and not crammed was something I had to keep in mind but overall I think I succeeded. Also the texture was (somewhat) taken away by topcoat, I like to seal in nail art.
Presents for the little one
Hello there guys!! Ok last post I said I'd be posting everyday, then I go and don't post yesterday :/ Honestly I forgot and was tired from coming home late so you'll see that post later in the month and instead you'll get to see this design. I decided to paint presents you'd give to a young child cause of cuteness and my pastel glitter inspired me. All to go with my unconventional Christmas nail designs.
I also used tartofraise's teddies as inspiration cause they are SO cute!! I really like this design, come on cute teddy bears and pastel glitter, I'm so done. Also I love all the colours used, bright and happy. Also so childish and I love having that feel in a design, it's wonderful. As always I freehanded with the nail polish brushes, toothpicks and a nail art pen.

The iPhone (Nail) Series: Angry Birds Christmas
Hi there guys!! Welcome to another edition of The iPhone (Nail) Series, the Christmas edition!! Yep you guessed it, Angry Birds probably the most famous app ever. I think they're pretty iconic now, I see them on all kinds of merchandise (for example I saw them on shoes the other day) and they look pretty cool so no complaints here. It was only a matter of time before they would show up on the iPhone Nail Series.
Also it's almost Christmas and I have lots of designs I want to post before Christmas and not enough, I'll probably be doing posts everyday, which will also make up for the lack of posts this month (I've been busy)!!! :)
To make anything Christmassy you add a Santa hat or holly. I really like this manicure, I feel like the bird and pig were painted well and I love glitter you guys should know that. I prefer the pig here compared to the bird. I think the designers of the game did a good job with the characters cause they're so easily recognisable and can be seen as cute. I know I could've painted the other variants of angry bird but I really felt like one (the most well known) was enough.
Now my opinion of Angry Birds. I don't like it... Maybe I'm not the only one? I just don't see the appeal, every time I play (which isn't many times) I have no motivation to progress through the game. There's nothing to unlock or a story continuing through so I'm just not interested. I haven't liked anything variation of the game or the spin-offs (I'm pretty sure there is a Christmas version though!!), but if you do I think every version is 69p. I feel like Angry Birds is just an aimless game that is not my cup of tea. Sorry Angry Birds, it makes a funky manicure though.
Base: Rimmel - Azure and Models Own - Indian Ocean (love this combo)
Red: M&S - Poppy
White: Lovely Me:Ex - White and Barry M - Matt White
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
Yellow: M&S - Maize
Green: China Glaze - I'm With The Lifeguard
Dark Green: Rimmel - Block Your Green!
Blue and pink glitter: Hare Polish - The Teen Queen
Pink and white glitter: OPI - Minnie Style

Gimme Glitter: Orly - Ridiculously Regal
Hi there folks!! Hope you're having a nice day and if not hopefully it'll get better. My bezzie also gave me this polish and I was excited that it was Orly, I really Orly, I like the polishes they make. And I never realised that TK Maxx was selling full-sized Orlys, you used to only be able to get minis from Boots. Clearly this opens up a whole new polish world for me.This is glitter, I love all the glitter, glitter is always a good thing.
Ridiculously Regal is a plum small and medium hex glitter in a clear base. Just saying I like the name, both words are ones I like. I've mentioned I hate the colour plum but I really really like this glitter, probably because it sparkles. Also I love the teal and plum combo it looks fab. Just want to say that the glitter looks a hint more purple in real life, but not that much more.
This polish was from Orly's Flash Glam FX collection that I really really liked, if I can get more, I WILL!! Consisted of 22 glitter polishes, quite clearly it was made for me. I have another from the collection, Go Deeper which again I really liked. I like putting my Orly glitters together, they look pretty.
The polish was very glitter packed, as you can tell but not particularly in the good way. It was an all or nothing kind of glitter polish. When I was applying and got the bottle, the base and the glitter had separated and the top 1/4 of the polish was all clear base.
I had to shake it up then apply, so the thumb is 1 coat as the glitter kind of exploded. The other four nails have 3 pretty well distributed coats, that's why those four nails are shinier than the thumb, they had more clear base. The glitter migrated to the tips and I had to manipulate it quite a bit but that's quite standard and it wasn't very bad. But you know I like the glitter packed look so this all worked in my favour.

Neon + Christmas Pop Art
Hello there fine folks!! The week is winding down and it's almost Christmas!!! :D :D :D I never knew December would be so crazy, hopefully I'll get to keep you up to date. I love pop art and I love all things neon, unfortunately combined it's not the hottest combo but it's still quite nice. I might try to do something better another time.
Ok first things first the neon glitter over mint green is messed up, it worked last time cause the base wasn't so pink but it is and neon glitter (with mild pink base) over mint green looks grey. And it's gross. So never again. Also it was bubble city and super thick. But I really the pop art elements painted, I just love the polka dot effect thing, that's ma fav. Pop art is just so awesome, and I quite like the Christmas colours over the neon but the grey base is something I am not a fan of. But no matter what neon glitter is simply beautiful.
The white turned yellow over the green once I added topcoat, it was weird I'm not sure what happened. I really like the Jinx polka dots and by the way all the colours in this manicure are much brighter in real life. I did my normal painting style, with pens and toothpicks and polish brushes.
Bright Jade: Barry M - Greenberry
Shimmery Red: OPI - Jinx
Green: Rimmel - Block Your Green!
Red: M&S - Poppy
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
White: Lovely Me:Ex - White and Barry M - Matt White
Neon glitter and base: Lush Lacquer (or Polish Me Silly) - Clowning Around and China Glaze - Re-Fresh Mint

Textured Heart-shaped Leopard Print (with a Christmas theme)
Hello there!! You know I love a leopard print and I did a proper Christmas one with textured polish cause I have a few and I love the textured trend. I really hope it lasts cause I loooovvvvvvveeeeeeeee the sparkly ones.
Textured polishes are fabulous and this look is so fun. The heart shaped leopard spots are cute and easy to do. I used almost every textured polish I own and a green. Jinx is just the greatest and I like how Jinx looks different over the green. Also I can't wait to try the black texture by itself just cause of that amazing green shimmer. The blue nail was a bit of an accent I like having a double accent, it's cool, and doubly cool when the colours work together.
I like the extra space left cause normally I clutter my leopard prints but it's nice to see the base colours. I used the polish brush for the spots and a bobby pin for the black. Oh yeah I topcoated this look but it didn't really take away the texture look.
Green: Rimmel - Block Your Green!
This has the most gorgeous hidden shimmer (which isn't too hidden) and Block Your Green! will definitely be showing up more.
Red: OPI - Jinx
Blue: OPI - Get Your Number
Purple: OPI - My Current Crush
Black: M&S - Petrol

Poinsettia Nail Art
Hi there guys!! Happy weekend once again!! I thought once my exams were over I'd be a free woman but it seems the opposite has happened and I'm busier than before :/ Thankfully I have the weekend to catch up on things but really I should be watching movies everyday and not having to revise for tests and preparing powerpoints :/ I know that sounds very silly but surely the lead up to Christmas should be more relaxed, which is a reason I haven't got as many posts up as I've wanted to. I did get to decorate our tree today which was very nice.
I have poinsettia nail art today and it's one of my favourite floral nail art that I've ever done :)
I think the difference this time was the fact I outlined with the corresponding colours instead of black. Now I love a black outline (you probably could tell) but this change was lovely, personally I'm very proud of this and I think it's quite pretty. Also all the petals were proportioned which is very important to me. It just worked and for my floral nail art can be a bit of a unknown factor for me.
I wasn't sure at all how this was going to turn out and yays for it working but it was random and not controlled. I did a "gradient" but the colours were too close together for it to show up. And not like it was a good gradient anyway, it was going to be covered up. Then I did the red petals and I was just hoping they were the same size and did the same for the leaves.
I tried the Deborah Lippmann topcoat again and it leaves a manicure very smooth but there's the chance of smudging (thankfully there's only a little bit here), I've decided when there's no exposed white or black in the design I'll use this topcoat (cause my Color Club one is slowly running out :().
Base (from moon to tip): M&S - Champagne, The Face Shop - GL112, M&S - Golden Sands sealed with China Glaze - Luxe and Lush
Red petals: Essie - E-Nuff Is E-Nuff and OPI - Jinx (I love Jinx :))
Red outline: Barry M - Raspberry
Green: Illamasqua - Nomad (my favourite green polish, just saying)
Dark Green: Rimmel - Block Your Green!
Mustard Yellow: Topshop - Naked

The Psychedelic Stars in the Bright Sky
Hi there guys!! It's nice when things actually work your way, actually I'll link a song that I'm in love with that I feel is relevant and it's an amazing song. Anyway I have some crazy star nail art, cause I love stars and I don't give them enough love.
I love the way stars look, they just look great. I wanted a wavy connected across all the nails kind of look and it was kind of achieved. I also like the pairings of the colours of the stars (well that was wordy). Just a cute little look :)
I was also trying a new polish, which I have to say I was very underwhelmed with, you probably won't be seeing it again as I don't really like it.
Base: Deborah Lippmann - Lady Sings The Blues and Rimmel - Disco Ball
And a wild Deborah Lippmann appears, I promised myself I would never buy a Deborah Lippmann polish cause they are extortionately expensive and I don't think the colours are all that special. But TK Maxx was offering me 4 Deborah Lippmann polishes for £12, 1 Deborah Lippmann polish costs £18 and it's a pretty great deal. But I'm giving the others away as presents cause they don't really tickle my fancy (what a strange phrase). Disco Ball really made the polish look better, I liked the glitter in Lady Sings The Blues (also I like the name of the polish) but it wasn't very apparent and what I liked least was how dark it was. I like dark blue but it was pretty much black and I'm just not a fan, so don't expect to see this one again haha :P
Purple: OPI - My Current Crush
Light Purple: Illamasqua - Jo'Mina
Silver: w7 - Silver Mirror and Nails Inc - Abbey Road
White: Lovely Me:Ex - White and Barry M - Lady
Teal: Barry M - Guava
Blue: Rimmel - Azure Blue
Green: Rimmel - Block Your Green!

Misfit Dog + Bear Plushie Nail Art
Hi there guys!! I have the day off school today which is potentially one of the most beautiful things ever. Since my exams are over I'm trying to watch as many movies as possible and again it's beautiful and I love it, currently I've watched Ballet Shoes (one of my favourite movies EVER, seriously it makes me the happiest and I love the setting of the film), Singin' In The Rain and Finding Nemo.
Today I have my first kind of Christmas design, I painted the dog(? or maybe an elephant) from The Island Of Misfit Toys (I owned that DVD) and a random bear, which I realised looked liked Lotso Huggin' Bear from Toy Story 3, whom was also a misfit.
When I'd first finished I didn't like it, which is something standard of me, when I feel like I could've painted MUCH cuter it's standard cause cuteness is everything :P But after a while I thought it was ok, they are quite cute. Though the dogs don't really look like dogs, but I can look past that haha.
I especially like the polishes which were new after a shopping trip (Christmas shopping :D I'm pretty sorted for the presents I'm giving), I adore that shade of light pink especially with the HOLOGRAPHIC GLITTER, I WANT TO PUT IT OVER EVERYTHING. Holographic glitter is also everything. And the white textured polish which I think is very reminiscent of shimmering snow, me gusta mucho (that spanish could be totally wrong, mi espanol es no bueno).
On another note I got the Deborah Lippmann Addicted To Speed topcoat in a set and I tested it out on my thumb. You can't really see it in the photos but it smudged and it wasn't pretty, obviously for all the other nails I switched back to my perfect Color Club topcoat.

Pale Pink and holographic glitter: Barry M - Dragon Fruit and Barry M - Superdrug Xmas Limited Edition 2013 E
Dragon Fruit has the most grogeous hidden shimmer and I love it, hoping to get an accurate swatch picture soon. And you better believe I got the Superdrug Limited Edition, I love them and you know that, and this one is no different, pink holographic glitter? Yes please.
White: Lovely Me:Ex - White and Barry M - Matt White (and still it smudges with the Deborah Lippmann topcoat -_-)
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
Red: OPI - Jinx
Blue: Essie - Bikini So Teeny
Textured White: Barry M - Lady
Dark Pink: Color Club - Wing Fling
Light Pink: Orly - Basket Case
Green (which totally looks blue): Rimmel - Block Your Green!
Thanks for reading, I hope to get to watching a movie soon and I hope you have a great day!!! :)

Teal Nails: Barry M - Guava
Hello there you, happy weekend!! Today I have a swatch, a polish from a dear friend. I surprisingly don't have all that many teal polishes, I guess I just move to the blue or green party. But somewhere in between is always good for me :)
This here is Barry M Guava from the Summer Gelly collection. I AM IN LOVE WITH IT!! I just adore the colour it's sooooooooooooooooooooo beautiful, but also a pain to photograph. My camera hates green (-_-) and give it teal and it's whole other issue. I had to colour correct with my limited editing skillz but I'm glad I got it pretty accurate. I refused to show you a blue polish for this.
Guava is a more leaning on blue light teal and it's just gorgeous, I'm such a big fan of this polish.
The Barry M Gellies are fabulous (as are Barry M polishes, I just looooovvvvvve Barry M), the summer collection this year was pretty great. I might get Blue Grape just so I have a guilt free Baker Street that I can use ALL the time. And just look how shiny this is, and this is sin topcoat, it's pretty spectacular. I looked up what a guava looks like and this is not the colour of a guava, but this doesn't bother me.
2 flawless coats, this was actually opaque in 1 coat, I did two cause of habit and my nails are pretty long. But even so 1 coat was pretty much perfect. It glided and was so opaque and these are so fantastic, how can formula be so great? But I think this one chips quite easily, but throw your topcoat on and everything should be fine.
