Hi there!!! I've mentioned in a previous post that the weather here has been really good. But seriously it puts me in such a good mood that you wouldn't believe. It puts me in a summery mood :D And it's the last day of winter, it all fits together. I'm excited for spring (and for my english test to be over :P). I've already shown Sweets Way by itself but I want to show it again cause it's lovely (and looks really pretty over purple).
I've been loving that Barry M -Berry Ice Cream (pink-toned pale purple), it's a super pretty colour. I used 2 coats, I think I used to avoid it because 1. I thought it didn't suit me (ok it doesn't really) and 2. I thought it took a million coats and took ages to dry. I was wrong and I'm ok with that. I think I used 1 coat of Nails Inc - Sweets Way (milky white base with small peach, blue and silver glitter) on top, I really liked the combination of it all. All the colours somewhat worked together. The name has a sweet feeling to it, I do like some sweets and ice cream ;) I enjoyed having this on it was just pretty. Sweets Way wasn't too bad to remove this time, I think it's cause there was only 1 coat the glitter still gets everywhere.
Thank you for reading and have a great day!!! :)

Love-ly Nail Art Challenge - Favourite Valentine Tutorial
Hey there guys!!! I hope you are all well this fine day, I once again have to say the weather was lovely today and that permitted me to takes pictures slightly later than usual. This is the final day of the challenge and it made February race (but I did anticipate that).
I knew which tutorial from the very beginning of the challenge, it was probably the tipping point to me doing the challenge, as for some days I wouldn't know what to do (but I'm glad I gave it a try cause I tried some different things out). It's the "MWAH" kisses tutorial by Professionaldq, I love her style, she gets me :P Her pop art designs are amazing, I know my last challenge design was pop art but I can't get enough pop art.
I didn't want a stark white background, but that completely changed the design in the process, I couldn't do the dots (my favourite part of pop art) so I was kind of bummed. But it's pop art, therefore I obviously like it :P I think this looks better in real life. I have to say I always misjudge the space the words will take up, I always end up with a bit of the word chopped off. Clearly I also chopped my nails (wow that sounds violent), but I need to play the guitar properly in a few days but I'm trying to hate on them :P
Base: Nails Inc - Sweets Way
White: Models Own - Snow White and Lovely Me:Ex - White
Red: OPI - Dutch Tulips
Pink: Nails Inc - Notting Hill Gate
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
I have to say I have really enjoyed this challenge, I do like me a good valentine cliche but it was lovely (;)). I want to thank Samantha from The Manicure Hut for hosting this challenge. It was a lot of fun!!
Thank you for reading and have a truly lovely day!!! :) (Of course check out everyone else doing the challenge :P).

Pink + Yellow Leopard Print
Hello there wonderful people!!! Hope y'all are enjoying this fine Sunday evening. The weather was absolutely gorgeous today, sometimes good weather can put you in a good mood. English homework on the other hand, can really put you in a bad mood. I got another impossible English homework that I struggled with for 2 hours. Fun -_- And yes you read that title right, more leopard print. I have technically broken my leopard print limit, but since my last one was a fail I've permitted myself another one, which I like (cause I love leopard print so anything leopard print I will at least like).
Good weather = Good lighting, it's all good :P This was meant to be a completely different design but I was sitting for while not painting and I realised it was because I didn't want to do that aforementioned design. So whether that design ever appears on my blog is a mystery but for now we have leopard print. Which is a wonderful pattern, I added little lines this time. I don't tend to do that but I thought I'd give it a try. I don't think it enhances (you see these fancy words, that's due to my english homework) the design but it's nice that it's there.
Yellow: w7 - Sheer Lemon
Pink: Barry M - Pink Foil (that limited Christmas one from Boots)
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
Glitter: OPI - I Lily Love You
I used to not like accent nails, you'd never think it from looking at my blog (I have an accent nail pretty much every post). When I first saw it I think I thought it was stupid... For a about 2 seconds clearly, as now it's all I do and I think they look good (which is why I paint them all the time, duh :P).
Thank you for reading and have a great day!!! :)

Love-ly Nail Art Challenge - Cupid's Arrows
Hello there guys!! Hallelujah for the weekend, am I right? I hope you are all relaxing and chilling, sorry to bring up work but I have given myself a lot for tomorrow :/ Oh well we worry about that later :P
It's the second last task :( This has been really fun. I was completely stuck for Cupid's arrow, it was the one I was not looking forward to, actually Cupid scares me. A baby that fires arrows? Ok then. But after some thought and thinking about pop art I thought I'd combine it in. I thought before I painted and it works, reasons to think in general ;)
I love pop art, I took a lot of inspiration from Professionaldq's tutorial, but I still think it's quite different... Of course I had to add some sort of cartoon, the idea was the "WHAM"was sending arrows through the heart (which ended up at a different angle...). I don't really know who'd be that happy with an arrow through them, but it's a cartoon heart.
Red: OPI - Dutch Tulips
Green: Illamasqua - Nomad
White: Models Own - Snow White, Gorgeous - French Manicure White (no name) and Lovely Me:Ex - White
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
Purple: Essie - Lilacism
I wanted to write "WHAM" cause of Orange Coloured Sky by Michael Buble (such a good song, though not originally by him, Michael Buble is amazing). "Flash, bam, alakazam, wonderful you walked by". His new album is going to come out and I am excitement. Ok sorry to add more but my iPod is on shuffle and Orange Coloured Sky just started playing (I love coincidences like that :)).
Thank you for reading, have a lovely day and check out everyone else doing the challenge :)

I Scream, You Scream, WE ALL SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM!! (or at least I do...)
Hi there guys!! The long week is over (well it wasn't that long but still), I'm looking forward to a bit of relaxing (whilst simultaneously working :P). I don't think there's anything I love more than food nail art. You can make animals cute but when it comes to food it's in a different league. Maybe it's because I love food ;) I was inspired by an iPod case I recently made.
I also combined it with another one of my current nail art favourites, geometric patterns. I might do a full mani with the geometric design as it looks really cool. It didn't look connected to the design until I added the different colours of triangle. This is really just my style of nail art which is probably why I like it so much. The only way to better it better for me is some pop art, but I thought I already had too much going on :P
Purple: Barry M - Berry Ice Cream
Pink: Nails Inc - Notting Hill Gate
Yellow: Barry M - Lemon Ice Cream
Green: Illamasqua - Nomad
Light Brown: Nails Inc - Porchester Square
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
Orange: Essie - Tart Deco
Blue: Barry M - Blueberry Ice Cream
Brown: w7 - Brownie
White: Models Own - Snow White and Lovely Me:Ex - White
Lil' story about the pink ice cream. I had a nail tragedy, I thought my nails were dry so I went to take a shower. Clearly I scraped my nail against something and a whole half of the ice cream was demolished. Instead of giving up (not my style :P) I patched it up with my master patching skills. But really I'd rather not mess my nails all the time than have master patching skills, it's frustrating. I've just realised how appropriate the Barry M nail polishes are for this design (literally just realised).
Thank you very much for reading and have a wonderful day!!! :)

Blue Nails: OPI - Sea You In Hollywood
Hey there guys. Hope you are feeling fine today, I had a massive english homework. Have to say I'm not feeling so fine but I'm glad I've got it done (but I missed the new How I Met Your Mother because of it :(). I feel like I haven't done one of these "______ Nails" posts in a while (I've been doing a lot of nail art, I've just felt like it really) but I have one today. I've used this polish before but that was underneath a thick glitter so not properly. I'm glad I tried it out again as it's really nice.
The first time I used I used this polish it must not been been mixed in properly but this time it was fine. 2 coats will do for full opacity but I used 3 cause I had a bit of a blunder. There's also a random piece of glitter on my thumb and I'm not sure how it got there. It was a gift from my best friend for my birthday last year. It's a dark blue-y/teal-y colour, my camera made it more blue. It's kind of shimmery, I'm actually really not sure how to describe the finish. I also don't know what collection it's from (oh man I am so professional) but I will be stalking the internet soon to find out. It dried quite fast and coats were very thin (but it's worked though the 1st coat was quite sheer). But I like this polish and I will be using it more as it's very nice.

Love-ly Nail Art Challenge - Gifts
Hi there guys. Hope you are all doing well. I returned to school today, it was actually ok but tests will begin and ok will disappear in an instant.
I originally had no clue what to do, I didn't want to do a standard gift as I wouldn't know how to paint it. But I had an idea that utilises cute cartoons which I was excited about, but it didn't exactly hit the spot. There's something about the manicure I'm not happy about, I guess I didn't paint it as well as I would've wanted to.
They're wedding anniversary gifts!!! I painted 1-6 year gifts (excluding 3 which was leather, I didn't know what to do for leather). Cotton, paper, fruits and flowers, wood and sugar. I'm only happy with the cotton and the paper since the rest weren't as nice I personally think it ruins the manicure but I really like the base colours. But I liked the idea.
Light Blue: The Face Shop - GR501
Purple: Barry M - Berry Ice Cream (which I love)
Orange/Peach: Essie - Tart Deco
Green: Illamasqua - Nomad
Pink: Orly - Basket Case
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
White: Models Own - Snow White and Lovely Me:Ex - White
Red: Essie - E-Nuff Is E-Nuff
Cheek Pink: OPI - Charged Up Cherry
Blue: Barry M - Blueberry Ice Cream
Yellow: Barry M - Lemon Ice Cream
Brown: The Face Shop - GR112
I don't why I picked a lemon, as if you would causally give someone a lemon for your wedding anniversary but why not I guess ;)

Paddington Bear Nails
Hey there guys!!! I am excited about this post, simply because today I'm really happy with what I painted. Paddington Bear has been on my to-do nail art list for a long time, and I finally felt like I wanted to paint him. I almost chickened out after painting the base colours, but I'm so glad I didn't.
I love the combination of red, blue and yellow. I tried a different painting technique (nothing fancy, still my normal freehand stuff) and I'm SOOOO happy with how lil' Paddington Bear turnout out!!! I wasn't planning on painting anything else but I gave him a little Marmalade sandwich. I believe Paddington bear is from a book series (?) I just always remember him from the Marmite ads (not the only place I remember him from, I also used to have a teddy of him), they were funny :P Yeah and I made this matte, there was a massive dent/smudge thing on my thumb when I woke up and I don't know what happened. I must have slept really violently :/
Red: OPI - Dutch Tulips
Blue: Nails Inc - Baker Street
Yellow: Barry M - Lemon Ice Cream
Brown: Nails Inc - Porchester Square
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
White: Lovely Me:Ex - White and Models Own - Snow White
Peach: w7 - Linen
I love when nail art turns out right, makes everything better :) Baker Street was of course gorgeous, it's like sometimes you forget a polish is and then you put it back on again and everything comes flooding back :)

Crazy Heart Leopard Print (which ended in fail...)
Hi there guys. Hope you are all doing well. Today I have another nail fail. This manicure was meant to be nice, cause y'know it's leopard print and leopard print is awesome. But unfortunately not, I don't know what it is I don't like about it and there's something off about this. I had good intentions!!!
Sorry about my picture too, I didn't get any good ones and I was beyond caring. I quite like Luxe and Lush here though, it's nice over orange. I was experimenting with different accents, I'm not sure of this one. I wanted to do a leopard print similar to my index finger on my Hello Kitty design, but it just didn't work. I think the problem was I was too messy :/ Neatness is the way forward.
Orange: Bourjois - Tangerine Fatal and China Glaze - Luxe and Lush
Purple: OPI - Plum And Get It (which has a really lovely shimmer in it)
Blue: Revlon - Blue Lagoon and OPI - Last Friday Night
Green: China Glaze - I'm With The Lifeguard
Glitter Pink: OPI - Excuse Moi!
Pink: The Face Shop - PK105
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
I also don't really like the colours I pick, well I fail. The whole thing just doesn't work, I could find something nice about it (potentially) but I don't want to.
Sorry for the downer post (I'm not even in a bad mood :P), but thank you for reading and have a nice day!!! :)

Love-ly Nail Art Challenge - Broken Hearts
Hi there!! How are you this fine Sunday evening? I'm pretty chill, majorly looking forward to a lie in (Mmmm yay!!!).
When I saw Broken Hearts, I automatically thought of "Little Broken Hearts" i.e. Norah Jones's newest album. I'm a massive Norah Jones fan, in all honesty I haven't really listened to Little Broken Hearts as I've heard it's quite dark and I just haven't got round to it. I adore "Come Away With Me" though, oh man SO GOOD.

I feel this is one of those situations that it looked better in real life, but oh well. I loved the edginess, probably if you had a word to describe me it wouldn't be edgy :P But this is inspired by the album cover of "Little Broken Hearts", mainly the background colours and the font.
Mushroom: Nails Inc - Porchester Square
Red: OPI - Dutch Tulips
White: Lovely Me:Ex - White
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
My other black pen recently ran out (well I think it did anyway, I'll be testing again) so I've started to use my backup. With my old one a massive blob of black would come from the tip and I couldn't be as precise as I wanted, so I would have to improvise (but this was when that pen was nearing the end of it's life). But my new pen is working well now. I pretty much use my pens for every design but they're SO convenient I got them from The Face Shop (I first stole them from my friend :) but I bought my own after), it's a great place, I think they're nail polishes are fabulous as well. I'm liking Porchester Square, I never thought I would use it this much but it's a nice colour and the formula is great (I coat guys!!!). Not becoming a neutral person I promise (I just can't do that). I also used 1 coat of Dutch Tulips, all you need is a thick coat (just saying, man I have been abusing brackets today).
Thank you for reading!! Have a lovely day and check out everyone doing the challenge!! :)

Jelly Sandwiches + Tribal
Hi there guys!! Hope you're all enjoying this lovely Saturday. Have you ever had that chocolate-y ice cream cake. OH MY SO AMAZING. I was feeling like some glitter, in some sandwiches with some tribal so that is what be happening (bad grammar intended, don't worry it won't be often. Hopefully).
I was determined to make up my own tribal design so I did (I tried to use tribal elements that I've seen before). I think mostly successful, my favourite is my 4th finger as I decided to go crazy there. I'm happy with the neatness as I painted this with my non-dominent hand.
Base and Glitter:
Thumb: Rimmel - Misty Jade and Barry M - Superdrug Xmas Limited Edition 2012 B
Pointer: Rimmel - Misty Jade and Orly - Go Deeper
Middle: Rimmel - Misty Jade and OPI - Rainbow Connection
Ring: Models Own - Snow White and Barry M - Amethyst
Pinky: Rimmel - Misty Jade and Models Own - Freak Out!
Jelly:
Thumb: Essie - Turquoise and Caicos
Pointer: Topshop - Green Room
Middle: Topshop - Green Room
Ring: No7 - Snowflake
Pinky: Essie - Turquoise and Caicos
I really liked Amethyst sandwiched and Superdrug Xmas 2012 B (it's too long man) too. I won't sandwich the Barry M Superdrug glitter again though, cause you can't hide gorgeous glitters under a bushel. Go Deeper is clearly not a glitter to be sandwiched, actually looks better in picture than real life. I'll take it. There was a shard poking out of Freak Out! and I told myself to ignore it but it annoyed me so much that I ripped it out (yep under topcoat and jelly). I felt much better after and then I patched it up.

Blue + Purple Ombre Ikat
Hi there guys!!! Hope you all had a relaxing day, and getting ready the weekend. Mine won't be eventful I can already tell but I also have a couple of days off school which I truly am excited about. Since I liked the ombre manicure I did the other day I was like "More ombre", and ikat was apparently on my mind so also "More ikat".
I really wanted blue and purple even though I knew I didn't have a medium purple. I used all the purples I own in this design. You can see that Lilacism and Berry Ice Cream are rather similar. I much prefer Berry Ice Cream.
Blue (Darkest to lightest):
Kiko - 265
Nails Inc - Baker Street (which was gorgeous as always)
Essie - Bikini So Teeny
Barry M - Blueberry Ice Cream
Revlon - Blue Lagoon
Purple (Darkest to lightest):
OPI - Plum And Get It
Butter LONDON - Shambolic
Rimmel - Purple Pulse
Essie - Lilacism
Barry M - Berry Ice Cream
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
White: Models Own - Snow White
For some weird reason the picture looks nicer than it did in real life. It wasn't so hot in real life, some elements just didn't work. Middle and ring finger colour combinations were nice. Also if you're going to use black don't use a dark background (I've done this before -_-).
Thank you for reading and have a lovely day!!!! :)

OPI - Plum And Get It
Butter LONDON - Shambolic
Rimmel - Purple Pulse
Essie - Lilacism
Barry M - Berry Ice Cream
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
White: Models Own - Snow White
For some weird reason the picture looks nicer than it did in real life. It wasn't so hot in real life, some elements just didn't work. Middle and ring finger colour combinations were nice. Also if you're going to use black don't use a dark background (I've done this before -_-).
Thank you for reading and have a lovely day!!!! :)

Love-ly Nail Art Challenge - Valentine Gradient
Hey guys!!! Happy Valentine's Day (or singleness awareness day :P)!!! I hope you had a great one, I'm excited to kick back and relax for the next couple of days... Then school will come back and I will be sad again :/ haha just joking (but not really).
Me and gradients don't go so well together (gradients are not my valentine :P) and my gradient actually worked this time until I painted over it (genius), but I think it's still respectable.
Hmmmmm, it's ok. I don't hate it but I don't particularly like it. I used a cutepolish tutorial, I just looked at the picture then just did my own thing. There's some uneven patches in the black cause there was smudging and I was bored in school so I coloured it in with black pen.
Red: OPI - Dutch Tulips
Pink: OPI - Japanese Rose Garden
Glitter: OPI - I Lily Love You, Barry M - Pink Iridescent and Nails Inc - Glamour Glitter
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
White: Lovely Me:Ex - White
I like the moon, that is all.
Thank you for reading, have a nice day and check out everyone else doing the challenge!!! :)

Gimme Glitter: Barry M - Superdrug Xmas Limited Edition 2012 B
Hey dudes!!!! I am excited about this post man, very excited. Normally I wouldn't be this excited but this is one awesome glitter. I absolutely adore it, and I have to say the bottle is super cute too (the colour of the lid is really pretty). I love how Barry M do the limited edition polishes at Christmas (SO I CAN BUY THEM ALL ^_^), I was surprised to see this sitting in Superdrug the other day but I snatched it without thinking. I remember seeing the other limited edition Superdrug polish and not being so impressed(I assume that one was A) but trust me this one is AMAZING.
Oh man LOVE. See since I was just grabbing I wasn't sure what to think of it. But it's AMAZING, I love when you don't know what to expect from a polish and it's awesome. I saw the holographic glitter in there after I purchased this and got excited. This is a mixture of large-ish red and blue hexes, with smaller red, blue and silver glitter with a sprinkle of holographic glitter (which is what I think makes this one special polish). I love the mixture of glitter, especially the red glitter, cause its toned down salmony red and not a in your face "I'M RED GLITTER" kind of red glitter. I know I've already said this but I LOVE THIS POLISH. Yeah... I think Superdrug got the better deal, whilst I really like the pink foil polish from Boots, this glitter. Is wow. I used 2 coats over Revlon - Dreamer.
I shall treasure my bottle as I'm not sure how many are left :/ Thank you very much for reading and have a wonderful day!!! :D

Love-ly Nail Art Challenge - Roses
Hi there guys, we are half way through the challenge!! Valentine's day is fast approaching and I've not been excited. I just don't see Valentine's day the same way as I see Christmas or a birthday. You can tell someone you love them everyday :P
I used to really really like roses, but I think I've moved on from that (just tastes changing and stuff). I've already done this design so it's not the most original but I've done it in crazy colours already so I just wanted to use "traditional" colours. Pink is more pink and blue is more blue (worst description ever) in the pictures.
I think it's nicer in real life but in all honesty I'm a bit of a fail when it comes to roses, I try a different technique and I'm not sure if it worked or not. I'll pretend it did. I freehanded the stripes so they aren't the neatest but their not too bad. My picture's not colour accurate, my natural lighting was gone when I got home :/
Pale Blue: The Face Shop - BL601
Pale Peach: w7 - Linen
Pink: Barry M - Strawberry Ice Cream, The Face Shop - PK105, Per Una - Pink (no name), H&M - Check Me Out and Per Una - Fuchsia (no name)
Dark Blue: Kiko - 265
Green: Illamasqua - Nomad
The pale peach and pale blue went really well together, I was really surprised. Linen was 1 coat, I don't know why I didn't know this before. I thought of doing 2 coats but then realised that would be pointless.
Thank you for reading, have a wonderful day and check out everyone else's manicures!!!! :)

Pink Pandas
Hello there guys!!! Hope you are all feeling fine this Monday evening :P Kind of excited for tomorrow, in my school we can send sing-o-grams to each other and it's always hilarious. But hoping that I don't get one myself, they can be kind of embarrassing... Today I have some pink pandas, simple as that really. It's inspired by my jumper that looks virtually like my nails and oh man how I love that jumper.
They're cute (I think) :3
Pink: OPI - Charged Up Cherry
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
White: Lovely Me:Ex - White
It could be classed as Valentine's Day-esque since it's pink but I didn't have that in mind when painting :)
Thank you for reading and have a nice day!!! :)

Year of the Geometric Snake
Hey there guys!!! Happy Chinese New Year (to all those who celebrate :))!!! We had all our festivities last night, food a plenty ;) I wasn't sure whether I was going to do a design or not, it was on the back of my mind but I wasn't really thinking. But I felt geometric (cause that's feeling) and I had a design in mind so I went for it.
I made it matte cause I love matte nails. I looked up some geometric patterns and copied a triangle one. I love the way geometric patterns look, so cool!!! The snake wasn't meant to look shoehorned in, but in hindsight it does look shoehorned in. Doesn't mean I don't like it, I like it very much. I kind of randomly painted a snake and thankfully it worked (I love when that happens). He's a cute one (if I do say so myself).
Robin's egg blue: The Face Shop - GR501
Blue: Barry M - Blueberry Ice Cream
Pale Blue: The Face Shop - BL601
White: Lovely Me:Ex - White
Red: OPI - Dutch Tulips
Green: Illamasqua - Nomad
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
Pink: Orly - Basket Case
Yellow: w7 - Sheer Lemon
You can't really see the pale blue which kind of annoys me but I was determined not to use a darker blue, I'm not too fussed though, design was still fine.
Thank you for reading and have a lovely day!!!! :D

Love-ly Nail Art Challenge - Valentine Candy
Hi there guys!!! Hallelujah for the weekend, I can proudly announce that I have not done anything productive and I don't care (except I will care tomorrow when there's homework unfinished).
I don't really know any valentine's candy except the standard chocolates and Love Hearts. I only chose Love Hearts because last year I attempted them and they ended in epic fail.
It reminds of a time quite recently when my friend brought One Direction Love Hearts to geography, I ate it cause it was food. I have to say I'm not the biggest fan of Love Hearts. Or this design, it's quite messy but personally I think it'll do. On my middle finger it's meant to say "For Keeps", but me misjudging space it says "For Keep", there's bad grammar written all over that (don't know if I can count that as a pun or not) but oh well.
Pink: Barry M - Strawberry Ice Cream
Yellow: w7 - Sheer Lemon
Purple: Barry M - Berry Ice Cream
Green: Barry M - Mint Green
Blue: The Face Shop - BL601
Red: OPI - Dutch Tulips
Strawberry Ice Cream is a lovely colour, just saying that now. I think I've mentioned this before but it really doesn't suit me, why there is so little left I'll never know. I love Berry Ice Cream, it's gorgeous, I never fully appreciated it until now. The pink tone keeps it suiting me (kind of). I left it unused for a year cause I didn't think much of it and purple in general. Oh my it's gorgeous.
Thank you for reading, have a wonderful day and check out everyone else doing the challenge!!! :)

Combo: Oh my, that's one weird river...
Hi there guys!!! I have a weird combo today, I wasn't sure what to call it either, but really if you saw a river that looked like this you'd call it weird :P
The shimmer is more plumy as opposed to red-y. I always try to wear Motcomb Street by itself but it's SO dark that I can't. I used 1 coat of Nails Inc - Motcomb Street. Then 1 coat of Models Own - Indian Ocean. I don't like Indian Ocean over dark colours, it turns plumy and I don't like plumy. Finally I used 2 coats of Models Own - Freak Out!. I'm trying to use it in more nail art but I can never think of what to do. I'm a bit torn about this combination as in some lightings I like it, and in some I don't. Motcomb Street and Indian Ocean together are rather sophisticated. And I don't like that :P Indian Ocean has a little bit of duochrome but I was never really a fan of the duochrome thing. I think this combo is a change for me, that I won't be going back to anytime soon (unless I forget that I'm not a fan and do it again like I tend to :P).
Thank you for reading and have a nice day!!! :)

Mr. Webster The Frog
Hi there guys!!! Do you ever feel really weird? Cause right now I feel really weird. Just saying :P These nails are inspired by my main frog Mr. Webster that I showed in my haul post in November. He's so cute so nails had to happen.
Once you get over the fact that the frogs I painted look really weird, he's pretty cute (and please excuse the cut on my thumb, I did some editing so it looks better but it still exists in the picture). The darker green parts are meant to be lily-pads but once you painted over it, they don't look like lily-pads anymore. I love the top hats though, they actually made everything so much better.
Pale Mint: China Glaze - Re-fresh Mint and Gloss - Heart 226-1(? Don't know the name, it's a random shimmer polish I found in a cardboard box)
Bright Highlighter Green: China Glaze - I'm With The Lifeguard
Dark Green: OPI - Jade Is The New Black
White: Lovely Me:Ex - White
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
I have formula issues with I'm With The Lifeguard, I think I got a "special snowflake" as no one else seems to have the same issues. With bubbling, needing 5 coats for full opacity and how long it takes to dry. I really like the colour though.

The song that inspired Mr. Webster's name. It's an amazing song and I want to put it here cause I am a massive Alison Krauss fan. When she sings it live, OH MY GOODNESS SHE IS AMAZING. So yeah.

Love-ly Nail Art Challenge - Lips
Hello there people. Hope you are all well :) I had an idea and I went for it, I did change my mind in some parts but I think I changed my mind for the better.
There's a lot of kisses going on in this manicure...
I have never done an ombre manicure before but I have to say I'm a fan. I was surprised as the reason I avoided it was because I thought I wouldn't like it. It think they're awesome, more to come in the future :) Overall I think this looks quite cool, I definitely wouldn't have done it if it wasn't for the challenge.
Pink (from darkest to lightest): Per Una - Fuchsia (no name), OPI - Charged Up Cherry, The Face Shop - PK105, Per Una - Pink (no name) and Barry M - Strawberry Ice Cream
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
White: Lovely Me:Ex - White
I think this fits the category of lips :P

Love-ly Nail Art Challenge - Hearts
Hey there guys, I've decided to join the Love-ly Nail Art Challenge by The Manicure Hut. I just thought it was adorable and since I've been a bit low on inspiration, why not let a challenge give me some ;)
I'm impartial towards Valentine's Day, I don't care much for the actual day with all it's implications. But I love all the girly things related to Valentine's Day, cause in all honestly I'm the biggest girly girl. So let's get this started.
I've been wanting to do these nails ever since I saw them on Emerald Sparkled a while back. They were just SOOOOOO adorable. I did my own little twists to the design, I find it kind of reminiscent of falling snow in the background. I also did a successful gradient (a very rare occurrence) but you can't see it at all in the picture :( When painting, I was trying to be careful but there was a point where I didn't like what I had painted (OCD tendencies :/), but thankfully after some fixing I'm happy with this manicure.
Blue: Essie - Bikini So Teeny (cause I love this polish)
Light Blue (which can't be seen): The Face Shop - GR501
Blue Glitter (which also can't be seen): OPI - Last Friday Night
Pink: Nails Inc - Notting Hill Gate
White: Lovely Me:Ex - White
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
I'm excited to do more Valentine's designs :) Yesterday was the last episode of Victorious (I'm a big kid), and I'm a massive fan of Victorious. It's kind of saddening, I will definitely be dedicating some nail art for the show (specifically my favourite couple ;)).
Thank you for reading and check out everyone else doing the challenge!!!! :)

Colour-block Leopard
Hey there guys. How you doing? ;) I succeeded last month with not doing leopard print from halfway through January to the end of January. But it's kind of disappointing how soon in February that I needed to do leopard print. But this time I genuinely needed leopard print. I failed, like failed failed. I was so unhappy with the design that I wasn't going to post it. But I decided to battle on, and I knew only one thing could save my failure. And course that was leopard print.
It's not great, but it was much much worse. It wasn't pretty, I thought "Triangles will look cool!!!". Wrong, I hate when that happens. I've decided that I'm going to limit myself to 2 leopard prints a month, cause I want to do more than just leopard print!!! But I love leopard and always will.
Green: Illamasqua - Nomad
Red: OPI - Dutch Tulips
Sparkly Purple: Butter LONDON - Shambolic
Pink: OPI - Japanese Rose Garden
Blue: The Face Shop - BL601
Yellow: Topshop - Naked
Orange: Essie - Fear Or Desire
Purple: Essie - Lilacism
Red-y Pink (in this lighting): OPI - Charged Up Cherry
Pale Green: China Glaze - Re-Fresh Mint
Brown: w7 - Brownie
White: Lovely Me:Ex - White
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
I used french manicure stickers as tape (we all know I'm a pro) but after a while I began to freehand the triangles because of laziness and I didn't really think the tape was helping much.
Thank you for reading and have a lovely weekend!! :)

Give Peas A Chance!
Hey there, I had a lovely day today and I hope you did too :) I love been loving food designs (clearly, just take a look through last month's posts) and once again mildy stuck with what to do. But I saw my top lying around and I thought "I'm going to base my nail art on that" which I did.
This is a phrase that goes back with me. 4 years ago I drew a bookmark with this phrase (I saw a picture somewhere) and my friends saw this bookmark and thought it was cute. I have since made more of that kind of bookmark, but during the summer I lost my favourite one and that was quite annoying. Well flash forward to around Christmas time last year. I was shopping with 2 of my best friends and we were in TK Maxx (where it's at) looking around the pyjama section and found a "Give peas a chance" top, my best friend told me I had to get it, and the deal was done. I'm not the proudest of my design, it's just not as cute as well thought out as I would've liked it to be. But I like all of colours, the writing and the crazy dots.
Green: Illamasqua - Nomad
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
White: Lovely Me:Ex - White
Pink: No7 - Me! Me! Me!
Blue: The Face Shop - GR501
Yellow: Rimmel - Sunshine
Isn't "peas" what it's all about? :P
Have a wonderful day and thank you for reading!!! :)
