The totally doable I have a life challenge! - Saran wrapped japanese jungle tree

Hi there guys, I know, I have posted quite the title. I've tried saran wrapping (or cling filming) once before and I have to say I really liked the results. So I decided to make it the background for a Japanese jungle tree. I know that's not an actual thing, I just have been wanting to do nail art of a Japanese tree since I saw a painting in Japan which was so nice but I couldn't take a picture (cause of a camera ban in that museum). I based this version off of memory and randomness.

Ok so the saran wrap got eaten, but I wore the saran wrap look by itself for days and I really liked it. I like that if you feel one area is taken up too much with one colour, you can just keep dabbing until you feel it's right.
With this tree I did the leaves purposefully weirdly, they're oval shaped with some kind of support underneath with yellow spots. I don't know why but I felt like this tree would be in the jungle.
I liked the blue flowers, that was the colour of the flowers in the painting. But the flowers weren't as big in the painting and my flowers are big by accident, it just kind of happened. I was going to add more detail but I really like them the way they were so I left them. Which sometimes is the right decision :)

You know how the saran wrap is done. Saran wrap really does sound much fancier than cling film.
I started with the tree trunk which was all curly and cool but then I painted the leaves over and that masked all of that. The flowers did that even more. As you can imagine it was all toothpick. I know this section might seem redundant but sometimes I write the different toothpick techniques I use :P
Finally I fished for some glitter and randomly placed them around. You know I always need glitter but I felt the flowers needed some dotty friends(?), so the glitter came in.

Base: OPI - Japanese Rose Garden (Coincidence? I think not! But actually not cause I planned it)
Saran wrap colour: Max Factor - Cool Jade
Brown: w7 - Brownie
Green: Illamasqua - Nomad
Yellow: Topshop - Naked
Dark Green: OPI - Jade Is The New Black and China Glaze - I'm With The Lifeguard
Blue: M&S - Ultraviolet
Dark Blue: H&M - Blue My Mind
Sparkly Blue: Essie - Lots Of Lux
Teal glitter: Claire's - Dizzy

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a really lovely day!!! :)

Rilakkuma (Relax Bear) Nail Art

Oh hey there!!! How are you? I'm feeling ok-ish, I was meant to post yesterday but I got out of hand revising (I am one party). But really I started writing notes at 5pm and by 11pm I still hadn't finished. My maximum break could've been 2 hours so that was some intense writing. Unfortunately the test was today and I'm not so sure if I did great.
Whatever moving forward, I wanted bear nails and automatically an image of a bear appeared in my head. I could not for the life of me figure what bear it was, and that annoyed me. Of course I proceeded to ask the internet (the internet knows everything), where I typed in "cartoon bear" which did not work. Then I typed in "korean bear" which also was not so helpful but there was an image with the bear I was looking for. Turns out the bear is Japanese and called Rilakkuma (translated to relax bear). I am positive I've seen this bear before but I can't remember where (it's going to annoy me), but he is ADORABLE.

Ok forever I love him and I need him more in my life. I didn't copy the cartoon exactly I added some elements that I tend to do with everything I paint. I was put off animal nail art for a bit (I. Do. Not. Know. Why), but I am definitely back on cause ANIMALS ARE ADORABLE.
Yes I am a fan of this design cause bears are adorable, I think I love bears now. Obviously not the grizzly scary kind but the cute bear cubs etc. I melt (in a good way). The chick on my pinky is another character in the show. Oh man, SO CUTE.
Base: Revlon - Blue Lagoon, Models Own - Indian Ocean and OPI - Last Friday Night
White: Lovely Me:Ex - White (for details) and Models Own - Snow White (for base)
Brown: Nails Inc - Porchester Square
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
Yellow: Rimmel - Sunshine
Orange: Essie - Fear Or Desire
Porchester Square is beast for nail art cause it's so opaque, and in general it's a nice colour (just not my thing). I want to like Sunshine more, but once I had it on my nail (singular I don't know what I was doing, probably some kind of nail art thing) and it stained. I was not happy about this. Otherwise it's still a decent yellow, but you know yellows, they have many coat formulas.
Picture spam!!! Cause it's cute ^_^

I now want a ton of Rilakkuma paraphernalia, just because that bear is so stinking cute and he can just chill with me :P
Thank you very much for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day!!! :D

Peachy Cherry Blossoms

Hi there guys!!! Sorry to talk about the weather more, but it was sunny and snowing at the same time today and that was just wrong. Come on it's March, snow go away and unfortunately it's absolutely freezing today as well. These nails are actually appropriate for spring, clearly I do not care about such things as I wear bright colours the whole year round, but it's nice to be appropriate.

I surprised with how much I love the design, it's so pretty and elegant. I think peach is a surprisingly good background for cherry blossoms, I much prefer this cherry blossom compared to my last one, it just looks nicer.
Peach: Essie - Tart Deco
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
White: Lovely Me:Ex - White
Pink: Orly - Basket Case
I love Tart Deco, this shouldn't be a surprise (it was in my favourites) it's just such a fabulous colour (I never use the word fabulous in real life) and it was 2 easy coats (you girls with your shorts nails could totally get away with 1).

Thank you very much for reading and have a lovely day!!! :)
