Purple Nails: The Body Shop - A Grape Affair

Hello!! I have a nice polish to show you today, quite recently The Body Shop released their nail polish line, Colour Crush or something and I heard good things and they looked quite nice so here I am showing you this polish today :)

From what I saw all the polishes were cremes, but really nice colours at that. A Grape Affair (punny) is a red-toned medium purple creme and it's totally gorgeous, I was going to give this away but then it was so nice and I wanted to try out The Body Shop's polish.

Recently I've been real obsessed with The Body Shop, I've been getting £10 off every month and it really keeps me going back to there. I kind of really want to get the candy apple body butter thing, cause it smells incredible. Anyway back to the polish, the range of colours were really nice and will surely grow, good price at £5 too. As if I needed more reasons to go to The Body Shop, like I almost like it as much as The Face Shop, and I love that place.

The formula was brill and will keep me going back, 2 coats easy and probably 3 for long nails. The formula was smooth and glided and it was pretty much perfect. The viscosity was also right in the middle, I suppose slightly on the runnier side but overall really really good formula. Like don't hesitate buying Body Shop polish ;)

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day!! :)

Blue Nails: Revlon - Dreamer

Hello there, I have another swatch of a polish that I've had for quite a while and I don't know why I stalled so long not swatching it. Well I have it today and it's always been a really pretty blue polish.

Dreamer is a dusty cornflower blue creme, and emphasising the dustiness cause I think that's what makes Dreamer different. So yeah as you can see it's a really nice polish.

I don't have that much Revlon polish, I like it but it doesn't make me want all of them (which is a good thing actually). Nothing that blows my mind. But it's solid stuff and the ones I have are very good and I like the colours. But generally the colours I have, I have better alternatives that I prefer to use. Sorry my Revlon polishes.

I used 3 thin coats, and I applied very well. I know you can get opacity with 2 coats but my bottle is quite used up so getting the coats was a bit more difficult. The first coat seems a bit sheer but it builds well.

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a nice day!! :)

Blue Nails: Barry M - Blueberry Ice Cream

Hey guys, hope you're having a nice day so far. I got this polish in the very very early days of my nail art obsession, way before this blog and yet I'm only writing the post now. I guess when I get new polish I swatch it right away cause I have to and then the old stuff kind of gets forgotten about. But I have been swatching a bunch and this polish is good. Just saying that my bottle is old and used up which is why my swatch isn't the best (i.e. a wee bit lumpy) but even with formula problems I still recommend this polish.

Pictures are a lil' bit pink cause I wore my neon coral jumper when taking pictures :/
Blueberry Ice Cream is a lovely medium blue creme, I love my blue polish and this colour is just great. Can't really say much more.

There were a bunch of Barry M Ice Cream polishes and I think I have all of them. I love Barry M in case you didn't know. It's my fav, just everything about Barry M is perfect. A girl needs all the Barry M's in her life :P

The formula is pretty perfect minus the gloopiness, again my is an old bottle but when it was new it applied perfectly. The polish is naturally on the thick side, but 1 coat, 1 coat is all you need!! My bottle is also quite close to empty and I still could do 1 coat. It's so opaque it's great, it was still lumpy after my topcoat but given the circumstances it's still an awesome polish.

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day!! :)
