Brown Nails: M&S - Champagne

Hey there guys!! I'll be having a lot of swatches for the next while cause I am unbelievably close to having swatched every single polish in my collection. If that's not exciting then I don't know what is. Then everything will be nail art and new polish, I can think of no better things hahaha. Last last Christmas (I gave you my heart <3) my friends gave me this set from M&S and I'm still yet to swatch them all, I've swatched all the colours I like which leaves the browns and the yellow but they're coming up and I have a brown today and it's quite nice :)

This would be good for a party or some kind of event, it's funky. Champagne is a foil-y light taupe shimmery polish. This is my attempt to describe brown polish. But honestly it's nice.

It's another solid polish by M&S and yes I keep saying I'll into more into their polish and it seems I haven't. However I have been and it's just the polish isn't insane so I convince myself that I don't need it considering I already have like 3 (or more) of the same colour. Moderation guys, I am queen. Though I think it's solid stuff and you're getting good quality for a good price.

Naturally the formula is pretty sheer, I used pretty thick coats which led to bubbles (I can't escape). I used 3 coats (pretty sure), perhaps 4 cause of streakiness but I've seen much worse formula cause it went on very easily so yeah it's not bad. Overall I'm just not the most fond cause it's not my kind of colour, you can expect quite a few neutral swatches cause I don't really them as bases.

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a nice day!! :)

Mushroom Nails: Nails Inc - Porchester Square

Hi there folks!! Don't be confused by the title, unfortunately this ain't a nail art post. It's a little swatch of Nails Inc Porchester Square. Took me a while to get this swatched, I got this Christmas '12. I want to first apologise for my swatches, Porchester Square is a great polish but I used the mother of all bad topcoats and the bubbles were horrendous. I cannot even deal with that topcoat it's so bad T.T So I'm sorry for the bubbles, it's not Porchester Square's fault!!

Honestly I struggled to get this colour accurate, it's a darkish mushroom creme with pink tones. It's slightly darker in real life than in the pictures, and yeah more pink toned but not too much more. Porchester Square is one of my favourite neutral polishes, it's just a nice colour.

I do like a nice Nails Inc polish; but full sizes are steep. Now they have to very special Nails Incs (or free ones in a magazine!!). I tend to just get the minis in TK Maxx cause that's just the best way to get Nails Incs (I do not know the plural for this brand).

The formula is very great, it's so opaque it's ridiculous. I used 2 coats as my nails are a bit longer but it's so opaque that if I got a thicker coat I could've done 1 coat. It's easy to apply but it's a thicker kind of formula that is more viscous.

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a nice day!! :)

Beige Nails: Nails Inc by Instyle - Sao Paulo Streets

Hi there guys!! Happy July!! It's crazy that we're already here, I just be chilling with my fam, it's all very nice.
Is this beige? I have absolutely no idea, I can't name neutral colours for the life of me. I'm guessing and I don't really care, I should have just called this Neutral and be done with it. But not really this polish is lovely and genuinely could be my favourite ever neutral polish cause it's really pretty. Out of the 3 polish colours that came with the magazine I choose the neutral one, how crazy right? However I do have reasons. To the swatches!!

Sao Paulo Streets is a really pretty light pinky toned beige(?). Yeah go my description. I just really like how light it is, I don't know if that's weird. And generally it's a really nice shade that I think will go really well with various glitter polishes.

Apparently this is from Nails Inc Brazil collection, which I didn't even know they had one. I thought it was very OPI of them haha (and all 3 colours seemed similar to polishes in that collection). As you know I only buy magazines for free nail polish.
But yes crazy times I picked the neutral polish, I could've easily got them all but I am a girl of reason. Ok I didn't get the red cause I believe "There are only so many red cremes a girl needs" and I live by it :P and while the pink polish seemed very me. It was, but it's so me that it's also the same shade of pink that I buy ALL THE TIME. Really, I already have a comparison post of them and they are virtually exactly the same. Do I need another one? No. I thought Sao Paulo Streets was really pretty too so that's the one I picked.

The formula was beautiful. Best formula I've seen in a while. Glided. Smooth. Very opaque. 2 perfect coats. Thick but not too thick ya'know. Very impressed here.

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a nice day!! :)

Neutral Leopard Print

Hello there!!!! I'm back!!! I'm probably the only one excited by this :P But I hope you all had a fun Halloween, and I really hope everyone who had to cope with Hurricane Sandy are ok and safe.

I was away on a trip to Taiwan for my uncle's birthday. It was super fun and I got a few polishes that I will be posting about :) I did this before I went on my trip but I decided to save it til now. Obviously I have been going a bit leopard print crazy, but I went for neutral :O What is this I am using neutral colours??!! But honestly, I really really liked it.

Sorry that around my nails are so messed, I'm not sure what happened. I got inspiration from Lauren Conrad's website and she featured something similar to this on the homepage sometimes. Except now that the format of the website has changed I'm not sure where to find it :/ But anyway, I think it's great, I actually did a slightly different leopard print formula, I spaced the spots more and I did the lines differently... Ground-breaking I know.
Nude: w7 - Linen
White: Models Own -Snow White
Black: Lovely Me:Ex  - Black (no name)
I won't be going neutral crazy anytime soon (or ever) but it's nice for this. I need more leopard print!!!

As good as it is to be back (I really am very excited!!!), it got dark early (so I couldn't take pictures) and it's absolutely freezing. I have been shivering and got burnt by the shower (if you understand what I'm talking about, it's not fun). But thankfully it's not that bad and I have fluffy boots and a bed with an electric blanket (you do not know what you're missing if you haven't experienced one) so I'm very lucky.

I hope you all have had a wonderful week (if not I hope you're making it through :)) and have a great time in the week to come!!! We're in a wonderful month!!!! :D
