Dolce & Gabbana Blossom Nail Art

Hello there guys, good to see you!! Nail art!! Whey!! So I saw this super gorgeous red with blossoms Dolce and Gabbana bag in a magazine (and guess why I was reading this magazine, cause there was free nail polish with it and coincidentally this polish was perfect for this design) and I just had to do the design on my nails. I used a wonderful Robin Moses tutorial for this, her neutral cherry blossoms which was so perfect. I also love how causal her tutorials are too. Man I just love the look.

I just feel the more "brushstroky" look is what I really like. I really like the artsy look, while most of the time I fail that criteria, I think I got it this time!! :D
The tan flowers are also just lovely (thank you Robin Moses). I especially love it with the red base (and let's not even start talking about that red base cause I could go on for a while and I will once I write my post on it ;)); and there are also peaks of glittery dark red which I loved and wished I hadn't covered up so much. The pink flowers kind of just happened with a bunch of blending; it didn't turn out the way I wanted but I ended up liking it. I just loved looking at this design cause I think it's cutesy and elegant :P and flowers, I think floral designs are fantastic.

Me being me I had to slam on some glitter before the design and I just got the brush of the polish and went wild, as you do. I then got my toothpick with the dark brown and tried to go wild, but sometimes I can't let go of control and this is how the artsy doesn't happen. But the branches were covered with some leaves then some flowers which once again I did the toothpick thing.
The pink flowers were unplanned, but I got a tiny amount of polish on the toothpick and lightly dragged it on the desired part of the flower. I really tried to explain that all fancy-like but I failed haha. So yeah I used toothpicks like usual and went about my nail art :)

Owls amidst the cherry blossoms

Hi there guys!! Oh man I can really embellish my titles, but honestly I LOVE this look. Owl nails are always cute and these "cherry blossoms" (flowers really) make them nicer (imo, I've never used imo before). I'm trying to sort out blog posts and editing pics and also school work, I'm just hoping I can get everything done in time. Positive thinking is the way forward ;)

Ok I LOVE the glasses on the red owl. I feel like the whole look just works, and you know me I love bright colours. It incapsulates the things I love in nail art. Cute animals and flowers, oo and glitter. I wanted glitter as the owl pattern, I wanted a uniform pattern but then I used The Teen Queen randomly as the feathers all messy and I thought it was brilliant (and that pale pink glitter is great here)!! I used the word "love" a lot, but I do love it.

Like usual I got my toothpick and brushes of nail polish and got to work. And the placing of glitter was with a toothpick. This look also wasn't very difficult but, fun in how all the pieces came together.

Base: w7 - Lava Flow
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
Blue: OPI - Sea You In Hollywood
Green: Max Factor - Cool Jade
Yellow: Topshop - Naked
White: Barry M - Matt White
Green glitter: Orly - Go Deeper
Shimmery golden red: OPI - Jinx
Pink: Barry M - Fuchsia
Purple: Illamasqua - Jo'Mina
Pale pink glitter: Hare Polish - The Teen Queen
Brown: w7 - Brownie
Teal: Barry M - Guava
Orange: Essie - Tart Deco
Red pink: OPI - Charged Up Cherry

Peachy Cherry Blossoms

Hi there guys!!! Sorry to talk about the weather more, but it was sunny and snowing at the same time today and that was just wrong. Come on it's March, snow go away and unfortunately it's absolutely freezing today as well. These nails are actually appropriate for spring, clearly I do not care about such things as I wear bright colours the whole year round, but it's nice to be appropriate.

I surprised with how much I love the design, it's so pretty and elegant. I think peach is a surprisingly good background for cherry blossoms, I much prefer this cherry blossom compared to my last one, it just looks nicer.
Peach: Essie - Tart Deco
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
White: Lovely Me:Ex - White
Pink: Orly - Basket Case
I love Tart Deco, this shouldn't be a surprise (it was in my favourites) it's just such a fabulous colour (I never use the word fabulous in real life) and it was 2 easy coats (you girls with your shorts nails could totally get away with 1).

Thank you very much for reading and have a lovely day!!! :)
